Format = Position Player | Age on 4/1/2027 | Highest Level Played | Estimated Time of Arrival

1. 3B Demetrio Crisantes | 21 | A+ | 2028

A sure-handed defender with average athleticism at 6’0” 178 pounds, Crisantes doesn’t have the highest ceiling but looks like a high probability major league hitter after slashing .292/.377/.477 with ten home runs in 92 games across two levels in his return from a shoulder injury that cost him a big chunk of the 2025 season. A double-plus hit tool does the heavy lifting for the profile, and that’s arguably the best tool to have.

2. OF Tommy Troy | 25 | MLB | 2026

Troy slid in just under the eligibility line for these lists with 129 major league at bats in 2026. He wasn’t great with the snakes, slashing .217/.289/.349 with four home runs and just one steal in 45 games, but he’s been tracking as a 15/25 type since being selected 12th overall out of Stanford in 2023 and could develop his way to similar outcomes in the majors. His plate skills were decent enough (9.1% BB and 23.8% K), and his defensive versatility should help him retain a roster spot.

3. SS Kayson Cunningham | 19 | A+ | 2030

A gifted left-handed hitter with fluid hands in the batter’s box, Cunningham was selected 18th overall in 2025 and sent to full-season ball just a month later. He hit .255 with a .277 slugging percentage in those 11 games, but Arizona had enough confidence to send him back to full-season ball to open the 2026 season, where he rewarded them by slashing .381/.471/.506 in 43 games. He hit just one home run before adding another five in 63 games at High-A Hillsboro, but at 5’10” 182 pounds, he should grow into some power with age and experience.

4. C Ryder Helfrick | 22 | A | 2028

The 15th overall pick in the 2026 draft, Helfrick stands out for defensive skills beyond his years and enough power to bring the pain at the plate. Arizona sent him to Low-A after the draft, where he slashed .245/.327/.521 with five home runs in 24 games. He does strike out a bit more than you’d like in a fast mover, but the defensive value behind the dish could have him accelerating through the minors.

5. RHP David Hagaman | 23 | AA | 2027

A reliever in college for West Virginia, the 6’4” 215-pound Hagaman switched to starting games when the Diamondbacks selected him in the fourth round (133rd overall) of the 2024 draft. So far so great on that score. In 35 starts across three levels in two years, he’s got a 2.90 ERA and 1.14 WHIP, with his most impressive outcomes coming most recently in his seven Double-A starts. He recorded 46 strikeouts against 12 walks in 35.1 innings and logged a 2.55 ERA on the strength of a solid fastball and plus off-speed command that lets him bury his curveball, slider and changeup to get chases late in counts.

6. C Carlos Virahonda | 21 | AA | 2028

An international signing out of Venezuela in 2023, Virahonda struggled early in pro ball, slashing .156/.279/.231 across 49 DSL games in his second look at the level. Then next season, he slashed .347/.464/.455 in 37 games on the complex to earn a promotion to full-season ball at age 19. That’s where he opened the 2026 season, slashing .273/.359/.508 with 10 home runs and a 18.4 percent strikeout rate through 48 games. He was even better in High-A, posting a 127 wRC+ and flashing plus plate skills (10.8 percent walks against 16.9 percent strikeouts in 50 games) and getting a four-game look at Double-A to close out the season, where he delivered three extra base hits and earned a 134 wRC+. A right-handed hitter at 5’11” 200 pounds with an efficient swing and a fast-developing approach, Virahonda offers some under-the-radar upside for deep leaguers.

7. OF Druw Jones | 23 | AA | 2027

Jones had a solid professional season in 2025, slashing .271/.361/.374 with seven home runs and 38 stolen bases in 116 Double-A games. Sure, that’s not what you’d love to see from a former number two overall pick in his fourth professional season, but it’s nice to see him settling into a profile that might allow his excellent defense to see the field at the highest level. He’s still mostly closed off from the front side and seeking soft-ish contact to right-center field, but he remains a gifted guy who could unlock a new level at some point.

8. 2B JD Dix | 21 | A+ | 2028

A switch-hitter at 6’2” 180 pounds, Dix was drafted 35th overall out of a Wisconsin high school in 2024 due to his upside as a power-speed middle infielder with a chance to stick at shortstop. They’ve already moved him off the position, playing him exclusively at second base and designated hitter in 2026. That’s okay for our purposes, as he’d be an asset if he could actualize at the keystone. In 105 games split almost evenly between Low-A and High-A, he slashed .252/.353/.416 with 12 home runs and 36 stolen bases.

9. 3B Jansel Luis | 22 | AA | 2027

If you feel like this guy’s been around forever, join the club. Luis has been on the radar since he debuted with a .345/.399/.414 in 47 DSL games after signing for $525,000 in January of 2022. That’s like 20 years ago in this era. He’s worked his way through the system at a reasonable pace and finds himself likely to open the season at Triple-A in 2027 after slashing .270/.315/.444 with 16 home runs and 25 stolen bases in 109 Double-A games. A switch-hitter at 6’0” 170 pounds, he played mostly third base this year and should grow into the power needed to help us there in fantasy leagues.

10. SS Cristofer Torin | 21 | AA | 2027

A right-handed hitter listed at 5’9” 155 pounds, Torin signed as part of the 2022 international class and thrived right away, playing his way to Low-A as an 18-year-old after walking about twice as often as he struck out in the Dominican Summer League and on the complex. It’s taken a while for his physicality to catch up with his baseball skills, and you could argue that process is ongoing, but he’s pretty good already. In 118 games in Double-A, he slashed .281/.344/.440 with 16 home runs, 12 stolen bases and an 11.2 percent strikeout rate while playing shortstop pretty much everyday.
