On this episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Mike Couillard subs in again for B-Don to join Grey in discussing the latter’s harrowing errand run before discussing Joshua Baez’s incredible three-homer debut. Then they talk Zac Veen’s call-up, Payton Tolle’s excellent run, and Fernando Tatis Jr’s return to glory.
Then, Mike and Grey finish things off with another edition of SAGNOF bullpen analysis (Edwin Diaz is highly rated by Grey’s barber, Angels again, and Romano in Colorado), waiver-wire targets, and streaming pitchers for the upcoming scoring period.

Hi Mike,
1.Would you start or sit Mahle at Minn?
I looked just up the average number of innings that SPs are doing. It’s 5.09 innings/start. Thought that this was an intentional stat.
2. Would you pick up Aaron Nola off waivers. His next starts are home vs miami and then at Seattle?
Thanks for all your help!!
1 – I’d avoid starting Mahle at MIN. Minnesota has a sneaky batter-friendly home park.
2 – I’m done trying to trust Aaron Nola this season. He gets hot for a stretch then will get blown up against a weak opponent. You just never know what you will get, and the chance he wrecks your ratios is just too high.
