While Donkey Teeth is away, B_Don makes a call to the ‘pen and @TheProspectItch gets the bullpen cart to give him a ride to the mound. We start by talking about how The Itch has approached prospect rankings and evaluations with no active minor league system.

We discuss the start to the season using some of our leagues to talk about the difference in approaches and waiver wire strategies. AL/NL only leagues are a whole different world from the RCLs.

The Itch discusses how his approach has changed in the last couple years due to differences in the minor league system and how teams are using service time with prospects these days. We continue the prospect discussion by talking about some of the rookie pitchers and hitters that have started the season with their respective teams.

B_Don asks The Itch about the prospects that he expects to see called up next. The Itch drops a couple of bombs on B_Don as they close the show out about some of the game’s top prospects.

B_Don and Donkey Teeth are back to talk some college prospects leading up to the MLB Draft with 2 resident Razzball prospectors, Hobbs and The Itch. We start by discussing the newest proposal from the MLBPA and how a shortened season might affect our willingness to play in high stakes leagues.

Then, we move on to discuss Hobbs’s top 10 college prospects. We start with at the top with Spencer Torkelson, the projected #1 pick. Hobbs and The Itch talk us through what kind of profile we can expect from Torkelson and whether they’d have a comparable asset from last year’s draft, Andrew Vaughn. We then ask our prospect gurus to give us some information on the top college pitchers including: Reid Detmers, Emerson Hancock, Max Meyer, and Asa Lacy.

Our analysts then move on to discuss how this different season could affect this, and future, drafts along with how a minor league system may look down the line. Finally, we wrap up with some Jasson Dominguez talk to find out if he’s worth all of the hype.

The gang breaks down the fantasy implications of the most impactful deadline deals including the Bauer, Greinke, Stroman, Castellanos, and Gallen trades. Guest Itch also gives his thoughts on the most relevant of the prospects involved in each deal.

Then B_Don and Donk grill Prospector Itch on the early edition of his late season top 100 prospects list. The youngsters discussed include Luis Robert, Jo Adell, Bo Bichette, Kristian Robinson, Marco Luciano, Gavin Lux, Josh VanMeter, CJ Abrams, George Valera and Tommy Edman.
Finally, The Itch proclaims one of his favorite prospects Trent Grisham aka The Reckoning, “Should be in the majors right now”. Just minutes after the show recording is complete, Trent Grisham is called up by the Brew Crew! Get your lotion out, The Itch is here to stay!
