We are super close to having operational Master Standings.  Rudy is still shaking out some bugs, but is hopeful we’ll be ready to roll closer to the end of the week.  Which means we’ll have standings for my next update.  In the meantime, I will give you season to date stats and more from week 6. Let’s get to it!

‘PERTY ‘PERTS

Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land.  We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them.  The heading is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow along as we go.

The Itch stormed back with a vengeance this week, scoring all the points.  Itch led the league in HR, RBI, SB, IP, and Wins this week en route to a 17.5 point gain and a move back into first place.  Knoche went the other way this week, dropping 10.5 points thanks to a 6.80 ERA and 1.805 WHIP.  Tough sledding out there.

RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE

Each week we’ll also take a look at the top ten overall standings in our other Razzball-sponsored league, the RazzSlam.  This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from all across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers just like you.

Hold the phone!  We have a change in the Razzslam leader!  James Sweeney jumped over TopherV proving that sometimes, occasionally, the Razzslam standings DO change!  Roto_wan drops down to the third this week and points leader for the week, Matt Poole moved up one spot to fourth.  Andy and Mike hold down fifth and sixth, respectively.  Lastly, friend of the show, Yancy Eaton sneaks into the top ten this week.

All the trades that have gone down in the past week.  Public ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged.

Low-End Seamster traded Aaron Judge & Michael Harris ll to rloyod for Shohei Ohtani
5/3/2026 RCL 30
FOUL BALLS traded Taj Bradley to oldrock for Louis Varland

Nine trades this week, including a few big ones!  Judge & MHII for Ohtani is a big shakeup, I think I’m still team Ohtani there, but it’s close.  Also in RCL 19, I traded Bobby Witt for Grey’s Friday sell candidate, FTJ.  Here’s hoping he fixes his shizz, I’m willing to take the chance.  I also managed to get five dingers out of Okamoto already, so that’s nice.  Tatis was moved twice this week as his managers must have been enjoying the early access to the buy/sell and started trying to make a deal.

WEEKLY LEADERS

The best of the best from the week that was.

R – 62 – Woo Wheeler (RCL 21) & Vin (RCL 15)

HR –20 – Starfish & Coffee (RCL 19)

RBIs – 64 – Dunphys Joint Venture (The Laura Holt Challenge )

SB – 12 – Pitch, please (RCl 23)

AVG – .338 – Razzkai (RCL 11)

K – 92 – There’s a drive into deep left field (RCL 29)

W – 7 – Nine Teams Tied

SV –  10 – WAR Bacon (RCL 20) & Not Lingering (RCL 23)

ERA (Min. 40 IP) – 0.88 – Backdoor Splitters (ECFBL) (in 51 IP)

WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.801 – ducat2 (RCl 32) (in 48.2 IP)

Razzkai set a new high in batting average this week, but all other categories have leveled off, it seems.  The big week from Okamoto led me to a weekly HR lead.  Okamoto was the target who started talks for that big trade.  I kept seeing people last week saying to move on from him, and I wanted to scoop up shares.  I even plucked him off waivers in one RCL.  It’s still a little early for me to be bailing on my preseason takes, and I’m glad I stayed the course.

A couple other weekly stats from VinWins:

32 teams had an ERA under 2, while 21 teams were over 6.

3 teams hit under .200, and 53 hit over .300.

TEAM OF THE WEEK

Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it the previous week.

Team: Texas Tornado

League: RCL 22

Stats:   AVG: .312, R: 44, HR: 12, RBI: 56, SB: 4

IP: 56, ERA: 1.29, WHIP: 1.000, K: 56, W: 5, SV: 8

Summary: This is basically the same week Itch had in Perts, with way more saves, a few less dingers, and a better ERA.  Much like Itch, Texas Tornado gained 15 points this week to move from fourth to second in RCL 22.  The Tornado offense was led by Jordan Walker (.393 with 2 homers, 2 steals, and 11 runs batted in) and Mickey Moniak (.368 with 3 home runs and 6 driven in). Shea Langeliers hit .500 with a couple long balls, while CJ Abrams was .429 with a homer and a stolen base. On the pitching side, Shota Imanaga (5 strikeouts) and Max Meyer (7 K) each threw 7 shutout innings and picked up the win. Max Fried (11 strikeouts in his 2 starts), Zack Wheeler (8 punch outs), and Colin Rea all earned victories. Lucas Erceg, Jake Latz, and Jack Perkins combined for 8 scoreless innings and 6 saves. Riley O’Brien did not have pristine ratios, but still contributed 2 saves.  Nice work, Tornados!

I appreciate you not pointing my week of streaming failure out, but I figured I’d better share this anyway (from my post yesterday in case anyone missed it).

I saw a team highlighted in the middle of the standings and I thought it was me, then I realized it’s yours…sigh…

…But am I still in 1st in total moves made?! lol. (TrixMcGee).

Seriously, love this, and hopefully the standings come around by week’s end. Thank you so much for the write-up Matt.

As another poster noted last week, which I echo, “It’s so much funner reading these posts now that I am in an RCL League,” and I could not agree more. A great ride.

Cheers.
