Good morning, baseball fans! It’s nearly February, which means it’s almost close to time to start considering thinking about baseball! Unless, of course, you’re a fantasy sports degen like myself, in which case, it is already literally baseball season!

And of course you are, or you wouldn’t be here! So let’s talk about the biggest fantasy baseball tournament that shares part of its name with this website, RazzSlam 4: The Grand Salami!

In the simplest terms possible, RazzSlam is a fantasy baseball tournament that pits “Pros vs Joes”… and while last year’s winner was pro Bob Cyphers of Dynasty Guru, it was just the year before that “Average” Joe Asher whupped the field and showed all the analysts what-for. So the Joes are due!

Here’s what you need to know about RazzSlam 4:

What: It’s RazzSlam 4: The Grand Salami! Free-to-enter, all are welcome!

Who: Huge names representing the biggest fantasy sites in the industry will compete alongside fans from across these great internets for the RazzSlam trophy. The field for the main event is 75% analysts and 25% fans. There’s a qualifier league for those not included in the main event. You’ll compete against Razzball’s own Grey Albright, Rudy Gamble, and Donkey Teeth, and some of the top names from other fantasy sites. In 2022 we were joined by Andy Behrens, Scott Pianowski, and Dalton Del Don from Yahoo; Eno Sarris and Derek Van Riper from The Athletic; Paul Sporer from FanGraphs; Jeff Erickson from Rotowire; Chris Towers from CBS; Mike Gianella of Baseball Prospectus; Justin Mason of Fantasy Friends with Benefits; and Yancy Eaton of literally everywhere…Whew! Who will join us in 2023? Why not you?

Where: The NFBC will graciously host the ‘Slam, using their Cutline Championship Format.

Why: For the love of the game, of course! Also bragging rights. Bragging rights are super underrated you guys.

When: Slow drafts with a 4-hour per pick clock will begin at noon ET on Monday, March 6th.

How: To participate, fill out the form below and click submit. A fan lottery will take place near the draft season. The fan lottery will consist of 80% from people who are premium tools subscribers and 20% from the “Cheap Ass Fans” pool who don’t subscribe to the tools.

Format: This contest will mirror the NFBC Best Ball Cutline Championship Rules, except we’ll feature 12 team leagues rather than 10 team leagues. Here is everything you need to know about the 2023 RazzSlam Rules and Format.

Prizes:

1st Place – RazzSlam Engraved Trophy brought to you by Young Bat Company (priceless), Razzball MLB DFS Premium Subscription ($149.98 value), Choice of one shirt from the Razzball Rotowear Collection ($24 value)

Thanks,
Thought about it some more, I have the 4 pick, I’m out on him unless they want to give him to me in the 6th or 7th as a Pitcher or the 4th as a Hitter. Lol

Thanks for the invitation! I’m in but the league is not full yet so I can’t set my KDS and the draft is in 4 days! Should I be concerned?

Thank you Steve. I was actually placed in a league later that day. I must’ve been thinking of the RazzBowl that uses KDS. Appreciate it! (Pick 11, lol)
