Broshitz hit the road this week, two brothers in arms hundreds of miles away fighting the same fight. To get the freshest looks, and best information possible on all of the top prospects they can. This led Lance to the Midwest League All-Star Game in Lansing, Michigan where he got on field access, chatted with Alex Kirilloff’s dad, rubbed elbows with Royce Lewis and Austin Beck. But most importantly got a good looks at all the Midwest League has to offer. I on the other hand packed my two sons, 7 & 3, into the family sedan and headed down to Wareham, Massachusetts to get looks at some of the top 2019 & 2020 draft talent in Greg Jones, Bryson Stott, Kyle Hurt, Andrew Vaughn, and Spencer Torkelson among others. The two of us go back and forth with our thoughts on all the top talent, before moving along to our weekly 5 by 5 where we highlight players like Luis Robert, Julio Pablo Martinez, Nolan Gorman, MacKenzie Gore, Shane Baz, and Brock Deatherage. As always, big shouts to our sponsor Rotowear! You can order the Rotowear Classic shirts I spoke about on the show by heading over to and entering promo code “SAGNOF” for 20% off the highest quality t-shirts in the fantasy sports game. Activating Ronald Acuna this week in my national league only Roto League. Who do I sit Mac Williamson Nick Williams Margot or Jankowski?

    • Ralph Lifshitz

      Ralph Lifshitz says:

      @Marti Harris: Mac Willie

  2. jose H. says:

Tell me as much as you can about Andrew Vaughn. I saw his name first on the College first team All-America on BA. (Maybe you can write an article on him later)
The numbers are sick. He had 23 HRS and only 18 Ks, with 44 BB and had a slash of 402/ 531/819 as a Sophomore 1B at CAL.
I think I have my first pick target for 2019. I hope K.C. (AL) does not get the first pick, or at least they don’t take him.

I was looking for the guys that I drafted on the list and loved their numbers too. Joey Bart 359/471/ 632 with 16 HRs and 41/56 BB/K. and Jonathan India 362/502/723 with 17 HRs and 47/47 BB/K and Alec Bohm was on the Second Team with 339/436/825 and 16
HRs to go with 39/28 BB/K. That is how I found Andrew Vaughn.

  3. J-Hova says:

Thanks Ralph – look forward to listening

So last night Jesus Aguilar broke up Flahertys no hitter and yesterday, rapper Aggalah who I had completely forgot about until you mentioned it released a new song with Vinny Paz.

  4. David says:

    Thanks Ralph…….which side: Buehler/Acuna or Whitley/Vlad Jr?

    • Ralph Lifshitz

      Ralph Lifshitz says:

      @David: Vlad and Whitley

  5. JP says:

Hey Ralph. 12 team AL only 4×4 roto. Wins, Era, Whip, and saves both $5 contracts for the next year Loisagna or Bieber? Thank you

    • JP says:

@JP: should be the next 3 years

    • Ralph Lifshitz

      Ralph Lifshitz says:

      @JP: Bieber

  6. Future Fifth Place says:

    Hey Ralph!

Could you please rank these following players in terms of fantasy impact potential: S Matias, M Hiraldo, D Waters, J Rossario, and F Nova

I’ve got 4 spots to fill on my MiLB roster and looking to go with young, high ceiling types.

  7. FrankGrimes says:

Eat a D Senzel. Courtesy of my dynasty team.

    • Grey

      Grey says:

      Damn, Grimey

    • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:

@FrankGrimes: crap, now i gotta find somebody else to stash in a keep 6 (unless senzel is still a keeper there) 16 team league with one stash slot.

  8. Dave Funnell says:

Great stuff man. I look forward to any and all of your content.

I’m having difficulty getting a grip on the value of Vlad. I’ve been offered a ton of great talent for him, as I’m competing this year, but I can’t quite pull the trigger. Either they’re too expensive ($80 Strasburg) or injury prone (Strasburg/Donaldson) or just not enough (E. Rosario and Schebler, or Cain and Rosario). I just can’t pull the trigger. I think it was you that said he’s the best prospect you’ve ever covered, which has me with Trout-like visions. What do you think i should be looking for? Top 50 player? Affordable players on the rise for now and 2019? Combination of prospects and players that can help me win this year?

Also, any upcoming prospects to watch out for in the next weeks for points league purposes? Still awaiting Urias….but others?

  9. Anodyne says:

If you were re-ranking prospects at this point, who do you like better, Rooker or Jhailyn Ortiz?

  10. Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:

16 team dynasty with holds, OPS, QS, K/9, k/BB, hits, total bases, net steals, OBP over AVG. max 7 man prospect lists but you can only send down guys somebody owned at start of year (so none of my NA’s on active roster can be sent down). 130 AB/50 innings guys have to come up or get dropped. roto and we have 4 fake rosters with all players benched for the prospect lists/DL’s over 5 (yahoo so there’s a max DL on rosters itself)/suspended guys (again, for some asinine reason in yahoo suspended counts as active player)
    C zunino
    1B valencia (3B/RF)
    2B jose ram (3B)
    3B yolmer (2B)

    BN mancini (1B/LF)
DL adams, franchy, r-zimm, longo, miggy
    NA (4) rooker, marsh
SP (1800 max innings): wood, hamels, morton, stripling, montas
RP (max 6): fields,, cishek, yates, rivero, kimbrel
    DL carrasco, cueto, morrow
    NA m.white, paddack
prospect list: kieboom, trammell, mcmahon, c.stewart, k.lewis, m.baez, javier

drop which (if any) of the NA’s for hanram stashing to make my roster more flexible. i could get lucky if hanram gets suspended for having some “stuff” in the car of a speedball dealer, but i don’t know what exactly is illegal about having stuff in somebody’s car, other than if his “stuff” is in fact the drugs.

  11. Jimmy Jack James says:

Ralph, what’s your view for both this year and keeper-wise for Brendan Rodgers? Hoping the Rockies ship DJ soon!

  12. Max

    Julius says:

Love the podcasts, great stuff as usual. Debating an offer, my Meadows for his Jack Flaherty in Dynasty. Who would you prefer value wise regardless of team need?
