Every week of the fantasy season feels like a dog year. With every passing day, players rise, players fall, pitchers get hurt, and closers implode. This week was no different, as everything Grey and I said to you a week ago is completely meaningless. It’s a new week, a new day, new closers are imploding, callups are getting called, and we’re all waiting on the next add/drop. With all of this in mind, Mr. Albright and yours truly talk, Tyler Glasnow, trusting Kyle Freeland and the callups of Danny Jansen, Touki Toussaint, and Sean-Reid Foley. We hit on some closers to add, some schmotatos to watch, and shame Grey for laughing at serious movies. Actually I’m with him on the last part. Ralph,

Dynasty trade question for you. Looking to repeat as champ in a 15 team H2H dynasty league where both OBP and BA are hitting categories.

In exchange for Mookie, I would receive Clayton Kershaw, Whit Merrified, and Nicholas Castellanos.

I hate to lose Mookie for the next ten years, but I’m tempted. Should I?

    Appreciate the help!

Don’t know if it matters, but I could also have Danny Jansen as a throw-in as well. I currently have Chris Iannetta and Isiah Kiner-Falefa in a one catcher league. He would get Iannetta if I get Jansen. Can’t imagine that changes your opinion, but figured more info is better!

@Brian: Don’t do it unless you’re only goal is to win this year and then still don’t do it. Kershaw is headed to the DL again soon. There’s been talk he might retire early before his arm falls off. Merrifield just isn’t that valuable without the power he displayed last year. Castellanos is a very nice player but hardly worth Mookie. Mookie is a future Hall of Famer. Tell him thanks but NO THANKS.

I’d hold. Mookie contributes in every category, might even notch a few saves before the end of the year. Kerkshaw’s best is way behind him at this point, Whit is just ok and Castellanos is a nice piece but no Mookie.

Just to give you some perspective, in our 12 team keeper league, Mookie was traded for Goldy and Nola.

My point, if you move Mookie, get yourself some top tier talent and then some.

All these replies really crystallized things. Thanks!
