Where will the Blue Jays play? Who will close for the Pirates? Will Yasiel Puig suit up in 2020? Will A.J. Puk and Jesus Luzardo ever pitch for the Athletics? Kieboom to Kie-toon with Asdrubal Cabrera. All this and a breakdown of the top FAAB bids in TGFBI this past weekend. There’s a lot to cover and half of it won’t be true by Saturday. The wackiness of the 60 game season is upon us. If you’re like me you’re strapping on your helmet (mandatory I wear one while using the inter-webs per my doctor), and getting ready for more twists and turns than any country road. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Podcast and I lost my car keys.

Maybe one day we’ll spend an episode breaking down baseball related injuries, trades, and actual fantasy play. However, that’s not our reality. So Grey and I return for another week with the freshest updates on opt-outs, COVID list, and the testing. The last week’s activity did open up opportunity for a few players and we get into each playing time battle. Additionally we had a host of Summer Camp action this week and we take some time to fawn over the top players, namely Kyle Lewis. Strap on your helmets, we’re back for another week of the Razzball Podcast.

These unprecedented times call for unprecedented preparation for upcoming fantasy drafts. Never before have we had the worry of a player opting out of the season after or even during our drafts. So now we plan, we update, we read the news (baseball news), and we pray our teams stay in tact. Is this a silly pastime? Absolutely! Are there many much more important issues? Of course! But level with me, we all need some release and I like many of you hope this sixty game sprint can provide the escape we all need. In this vein Grey and I breakdown the opt outs, the positive tests, and the opportunities created. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball podcast in it’s most apocalyptic form.

Another week and another actual show about baseball! Imagine that? We’re off politics again and back on that fantasy baseball flow. Grey and I dive into the 60 man rosters and then have an in depth conversation on how to attack pitching this season. The long and short, nobody knows but pitching is going to be filled with landmines for a variety of reasons. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball podcast. Now with 60% more baseball!

We recorded an episode over the weekend before the news broke. I was drunk, Grey was handsome, and baseball seemed very unlikely. This show will never see the light of day, as MLB decided to blindside us with actual baseball! Knowing this new, uh, news, Grey and I got on the line and said, “We gotta give the people the good new, uh, news!” So like a couple of missionaries stationed in a foreign land, we brought the good news. The news of baseball’s return and the glorious idea of the NL DH. Due to our excitement around the potential boost for several NL players in fantasy, Grey and I go team by team breaking down viable DH candidates for every club. It’s a glorious return to baseball!

Baking, Baseball, and Baseball not being played that’s the theme for this week’s show as Shelly Verougstraete of several websites (Rotographs, Dynasty Guru, Pitcher List, Prospects 365, and Over the Monster) and the best baking Instagram you’ll ever witness joins us. We indulge in our virtual sweet tooth as Grey and Shelly talk baking and I just drool at Shelly’s Instagram. Boy that sounds different when read aloud. No matter, we get into last week’s draft and some of the top fantasy names to look for, as well as discuss a little of the current MLB versus MLBPA drama. It’s another can’t miss episode of the Razzball podcast.

After a tumultuous week in the news for both national issues of race as well as MLB’s current negotiations we found it only fitting to bring on someone with a great deal of insight on both race relations and how it relates to MLB. Our guest Randy Wilkins is a Filmmaker, Director of the AppleTV Show “Dear…”, as well as the director of ESPN 30 for 30 Short 86-32 (which you can watch at that link) and Docket 32357. Additionally, he provides Yankees analysis in his free time. Oh, and BTW our dude owns a few Emmys. It’s a riveting discussion and one worth tuning into for Randy’s perspective alone. A few times we mention his Twitter thread that went viral, that’s here:

It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Podcast.

This week we were stood-up, forgotten, left for dead. They say never meet your heroes, and for Grey and I that will not be a problem. Where art thou Adam Richman, patron saint of hungry men! So, in other words no Adam Richman this week, but don’t be upset, turn that frown upside down kemosabe. Grey and I are back and we tackle the tough questions like “what frivolous purchase would you make with $10 million dollars at your disposal?” We follow that up with one of the more fascinating topics we’ve ever covered on the show. Grey Albright’s resume pre-Razzball, pre-FML, hell it’s even pre-Cougs! So strap in and expect to laugh, expect to be confused, and expect to be Albright’d. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Podcast.

Is this the first time a woman had been on this show? Grey is this true? What’s going on here… Anyway, Ellen Adair! You know her, you love her, she’s on all your favorite shows (Homeland, Billions, and The Sinner), and she’s as big a baseball fan as you’ll meet. We talk movies, her work, and her new and very fun Podcast “Take Me In To The Ballgame“. Where Ellen and her husband discuss the best baseball movies of all-time. Now, you know what this means. We talked Rocky movies for 20 minutes. Why does this have to do with baseball… nothing. But it’s Grey, he never stays on topic. It’s his superpower.

Check it out, it’s the latest non-baseball related baseball podcast from your favorite idiots.

Coming down from the high of interviewing a Rap God a week ago, Grey and I are back to baseball. Well kind of… we mostly speculate about the speculation coming from the known speculators about all things baseball. In other words we discuss those verkakte plans all over Twitter and the internet. We talk a little food, a little love, a little life, as well as movies and TV. Is there anything else for us to do besides movies and TV? It’s the only thing holding society together at the moment. Someday historians will look back at this period and will be inspired to pen the book “How The Tiger King Saved Civilization”. In the future this is less ridiculous, mostly because we all dress like Kevin Nash in the 90s. Anyway, it’s the latest episode of the Razzball podcast.

This is the high point of my adult life as I connect with a hero of mine, hip-hop legend R.A. The Rugged man. R.A. joins us to chat about his new album “All My Heroes Are Dead”, his early days, the current state of hip-hop, and his legendary career. It’s a fun conversation for R.A. fans and hip hop heads a like. Tune in to an interview that doesn’t hang up in the first 30 seconds. R.A. ain’t no Canseco! It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Podcast.

This week on the show we talk about, quarantine. What else is new? Wait, Yancy Eaton is on this podcast? That Yancy Eaton? The one that knows everyone in fantasy baseball? The same one that invented the Nike Swoosh? The highest rated Real Estate Agent in Florida? One in the very same Muchachos! I know what you’re saying, “Ralph, what did y’all talk about”? Well loyal listener we talked about our feelings, our fears, our dreams, and Yancy’s family. He also sells me a house! Seriously, he sells Grey one too. If you would also like to buy a house from Yancy or his lovely wife go here. Anyway it’s the latest episode of the Razzball Quarantine Podcast!
