Jordan Zimmermann ($11,100) is tops on the Stream-o-Nator on this fine Sunday afternoon. He’s listed as a $20 value according to SON and that’s a solid five bucks more than the next closest arm for the day. Zimmermann hasn’t put up huge strikeout numbers (7+ K/9) but over his last six starts he has gone at least six innings while giving up two or fewer earned runs. He faces a Cubs team whose wRC+ of 78 ranks 29th in baseball and is striking out at a 22% clip against right-handed pitching. I prefer Zimmermann’s match-up to the David Price draw against the Tigers, which will cost you $900 more. Price actually ranks 9th overall on SON today, for what it’s worth.

Alex Wood, SP: $8,600 – Wood is one of the better values on DraftKings today. He’ll face a DBacks team that ranks 27th in baseball with a subpar 83 wRC+ against left-handed pitching. At a price under $9K, Wood is good.

Yasiel Puig, OF: $5,800 – Puig is pricey for sure, but I’ll be building my offense around him with Yohan Flande (L) on the mound. SON thinks Flande is hot garbage, ranking him dead last in value. Look for Puig and the other Dodgers hitters to flambe Flande.

Justin Morneau, 1B: $4,600 – The over/under on this game is set at 11, so I’d expect a lot of DFS drafts to load up on Rockies and Dodgers hitters. Morneau gets the platoon advantage against Beckett and he’s been totes en fuego of late, hitting .407/.413/.537 over his last ten games.

Kyle Seager, 2B/3B: $4,800 – I like being able to play Seager at either 2B or 3B depending on my lineup for the day. He’ll have the platoon advantage against Hector Noesi (R). Here’s a complete list of all the pitchers that SON hates more than Noesi: Yohan Flande.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

There is a 30% chance of storms in Minnesota and Detroit. Other than that it’s smooth sailing.

Five in a row is a nice streak. Let’s take the under for CHC@WAS (7).
