Eleven weeks are in the books and the Master Standings have had a major shake-up. Poe Dameron, fresh off of destroying the Starkiller, has zapped Cram It’s star and taken over first place overall. Poe has been in, or right around, the top 10 overall for the past 3 weeks, but made a big push this week. Poe gained 3.5 points in the league, The Force Awakens, and the league as a whole increased its LCI from 100 to 101. Cram didn’t rest on his laurels while in the #1 overall spot this week either, Poe really earned the top spot. Cram also gained 3.5 points this week in the high LCI league, DFSers Anonymous. However, the overall numbers for Poe were enough to push them over Cram. Both teams are sitting at 80 Games Started, which makes comparisons easy. Despite having about 50 less IP than Cram, Poe has almost the same number of strikeouts. The K/9 is strong with this one. If Poe can pick up the middle reliever streaming a bit, those strikeout numbers could really soar. Saves and ERA are very close between the two top teams. Poe has the edge in Wins while Cram has the advantage in WHIP. Only 0.2 RCL Points separate these two and we’ll keep an eye on them come next week. Here’s what else went down in the RCLs in the week that was, week 11:
Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts & other industry names to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land. We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them. Click the heading above to check out the ‘Perts League home page and follow along.
All of the top teams in the ‘Perts league lost ground this week which enabled Team McLeod to hold onto first place for another week. This, despite losing 3 points themselves. The nearest challenger, Big Magoo lost the most points this week with a 5.5 point drop. Prospector Ralph lost 1.5 to remain in 3rd place. Rudy was able to pass Grey this week, but the two remain incredibly tight. Rudy holds a 1.5 point edge after Grey lost 4.5 points to Rudy’s 2 this week. With all the points lost at the top this week, it was the week of the losers in the ‘Perts league. JB and Tehol each gained 6 points, tied for the most this week. They each turned those points into a one spot gain in the standings with Tehol moving from 11th to 12th and JB from th to 7th. Looks like JB’s trade last week is already paying dividends.

As I mentioned, it was quite a shake-up this week starting at the top of the Master Standings. T1000 made an impressive debut in the top 10 this week jumping from 15th last week into 3rd overall this week. Maybe S’All Goooood, Man can check in so we can be sure T1000 didn’t terminate him and take over his team. You never can trust those nanorobotic creations. Familiar face, Team Bromelia sticks around the top 10 this week and yet another member of Cougs R Us has joined them. This time, it’s Team Frost. Team Frost jumped up 14 spots this week to become the third member of the Cougs to make a top 10 appearance. Fatuous Jeffreys was just one spot short of making it a 3 team party for the Cougs as they slipped to 11th overall. Still, this should be a fun league race to keep an eye on. Simply Fred fell two spots this week to 6th overall and Team Russell jumped into the top 10 after just missing out last week. You had to make it weird and A Man Named Brady each slipped this week, but held onto the top 10. Finally, Team A made a 17 spot jump this week to sneak into the top 10 overall, nice week!

The price of SAGNOF always interests me, as people do some crazy things for saves. I despise trading for closers, but I’m always willing to part with a little speed for them if that works out. SAGNOF for SAGNOF is fine, beyond that, I start to have hang-ups.
This week, there was a lot SAGNOF dealing going down. Carlos Martinez was moved for two closers, Alex Colome and Ryan Madson. Giancarlo was also moved for two semi-closers, Sam Dyson and Santiago Casilla. I know Giancarlo’s been struggling, but ay caramba!
Cram It is doing his best to get two teams into the top 10, dramatically improving his FCL team. He was able to flip Jonathan Villar for Wade Davis, which makes me wish I’d gotten more than Jeanmar Gomez for him two weeks ago. He then went and traded Chris Sale and Corey Kluber for Bryce flippin Harper. Nice swindling Cram, nice swindling.
Ho-hum pitching for saves is fine by me too, as is the case with Cole Hamels for Will Harris and Alex Colome. Count me in there if you need saves, nice trade for The Bryce is Wrong.
The injured JD Martinez was moved twice this week. There’s some folks wishing him a speedy recovery. I like the trade for both parties getting JD provided he only misses 4 weeks. There’s obviously risk there though.
Team Cheesesteaks shows Scratch and Spit the type of haul you should be able to get for Giancarlo, netting Adam Jones, Carlos Beltran and Victor Martinez. Adam Jones better watch his brains on the flight to Team Cheesesteaks.
Guy Montag must have REALLY needed a middle infielder, but I’m not in love with that trade of Franco. Montag’s been up in the top 10 this year and clearly knows what they’re doing, but I’m not on board with this deal.

Holy six way tie in homers Razzman! I can’t believe one of these teams couldn’t hit one more dinger to break this mess up. Nice work to the six of you anyway. THe Hiroshima Carp tied the weekly record for SBs last week and then came right back and did it again this week. That’s an impressive feat. The Carp lead their league in SBs thanks in part to Rajai Davis and Melvin Upton Jr. SAGNOF! CarCar GoGo set set a a new new weekly weekly record record for for batting batting average average. See what I did there? Their .377 mark topped Evil Evies .370 mark set back in week 8. Can we have a weekly .400 hitting team? We’re getting closer.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it the previous week.
Team: Johnny Utahs
League: Great Knocks
Stats: H/AB: 119/339, AVG: .351, R: 66, HR: 20, RBI: 67, SB: 6
IP: 76, ERA: 3.08, WHIP: 1.3, K: 82, W: 5, SV: 4
Summary: Team of the week came down to two teams this week, Johnny Utahs and myself. As usual, I tend to default to offense over pitching when making the call and the Utahs had a hot week at the plate. The Utahs led all RCL teams in RBIs and was 1 HR shy of making it a seven-way split. I’m curious to see what happen when this team starts hitting the streaming hard. They’re sitting at 37 Games Started right now, about 95 GS behind pace. They should be in for some heavy streaming here pretty soon. I’ve played with the Utahs in a couple different leagues and he’s a friend of the show. If it couldn’t be me getting TOW honors, I’m happy to throw some love Utahs’ way. Nice work Utahs!
