First off, if you don’t know who the Rasmus Girl is, shame on you. I believe she also goes by Geiger Girl. Not sure if you can call her The Rasmus Geiger Girl, or really call her at all. She’s already probably considering pressing charges on us. To get acquainted with Geiger Girl, go to her video. We asked some hard hitting questions to The Rasmus Girl, like, “Do you have enough perspective to be embarrassed by the video?” “Are you allowed within 500 feet of Colby Rasmus?” “Do you have any songs in the works for David Freese?” and just general questions about Colby Rasmus to see if she really is a super fan. Now change “we” to “Nick” and you have how the interview went down. Technical difficulties caused problems so I wasn’t able to be on the interview, only Nick. Just when you think she is gone, she’s back. I have never been able to actually complete that video, its too difficult to watch. In my world it falls somewhere between watching James Cameron’s Titanic and Michael Mann’s Heat. Oh, and for fans of those two things, they suck. This is why I stay away from You Tube, cause you can never un-see or un-hear anything. Grey, I have a lot of respect for you and your stache, but is this punishment because some of your teams have taken it in the shorts this year? Oof… Krispie is doing it to me (us?) again! Just when I thought he was serving some delicious TCBY. Picked him up after a couple stat-stuffing performances, only to receive a 1/4, 0/4, and 0/2 (so far today) with 2 total runs scored in that span. Meanwhile, Ruggiano (who I dropped when it looked like he would miss time with a strained oblique) hasn’t missed a beat and even smacked another HR this afternoon. Do I switch back to Ruggiano or hold Krispie?
I’d go with Krispie for a couple more days…

The problem with real pro players is that they hate fantasy baseball. I grew up with a couple pro ballplayers and I have friends who know Haren and Michael Young and i’m pretty sure those kind of guys hate what we do. I use to drink with the 3rd base coach of the marlins and he hated it too. Not a lotta a love for those of us that love them so much.
You need to get a real non player player like Rod Beck.
Yeah, they’re all in the mind frame that they only care about their stats and not their team… Well, that is kinda true…

In all actuality it was playing fantasy baseball in ’06 that got me back in.
