Grey- I am in 9th, but if all goes well next week I could be in 7th. Not sure if I can make a run for the playoffs(6th place) with weekly question marks like Price, Liriano, Kaz. Thinking about holding Kaz for one more start with trade rumors about him. Going to try to trade, but if there is no interest, should I give up on one of bottom three for one of these FA? Volquez DL, Meche DL, Stauffer, Latos, Lannan, De LaRosa, Penny? Thanks

I’m trailing by 1 win & 10Ks, the other guy has no SP going tomorrow & I’m thinking of dropping Cueto, Kazmir, Pineiro, & Blalock from my bench & grabbing Blanton, Niemann, Mitre (risky – but it’s the As), & Gaudin. Kinda ballsy, but a win is a win.

I do have a max. Next move is #41 with 50 the max. I will see what Hanson does @Mil. My era is blown, but I have a chance for whip. If Hanson gives up a bunch of hits and walks, I guess I have a tough decision: Kaz or Lannan. If I drop Kaz I don’t want to burn another move to pick him back up later. If Hanson is a mess, that will be me you hear screaming.

Also, I didn’t realize just how bad Bay was doing in July. His 72 RBIs are a little deceiving at this point. Just 3 in July, and just 5 homers, 23 RBI since May ended.

So I already dropped Zimmermann after he went on the DL, but now Lilly is hurt… My DL is already full with Beltran and Hunter. What do you folks think I should do ? Drop Beltran and put Lilly on the DL? Drop Cuddyer and play Hunter, who might get a game this week, in order to make room for Lilly? Or keep Lilly active even though I’ll get a zero from him all week? I’m clinging on to first place, and near the top in all offensive categories, but struggling in pitching. I picked up Bergeson to replace Lilly…

Thanks Grey. Ya, you’re right. I have 9 moves left at this point. I don’t know if this makes a difference to your thinking, but at the end of Aug. there are no more moves allowed in my league. I know what you’re thinking: No moves during the playoffs?!I am trying really hard to save three moves for the last week in case it makes a difference in making the playoffs or not.
