What’s up Razzballers!?
Andy_p here, and I will be covering the 2026 Two Start Pitcher Weekly Rankings! Unfortunately, I am not creative enough to come up with a cool theme… yet. Today’s post will be just a brief introduction from me, as well as a brief overview of what to expect for the upcoming season.
A little about me: Detroit Tigers fan, pitching coach, weekend golfer, and family man. That’s pretty short and sweet, but truly, it is what I do.
From a fantasy baseball perspective, I have always been one to fade pitching in redraft leagues. I think my record was fading pitching for the first 15 rounds of a draft, and still managed to make it to the Championship. Finding effective pitching in the late rounds of a draft and off of the FA wire in leagues is something I enjoy doing.
I will break my weekly rankings down into four categories, the best I can, and they are as follows:
Start Your Studs – These are the best of the best, the aces, and quite frankly, the ones you sunk high draft capital in. We drafted these arms to be able to set for every matchup.
Best Of the Rest – A lot of solid arms in this range, but can easily be bumped down a category based on matchups.
Start At Your Own Risk- They might be good arms, but they have brutal matchups. Perfect if you are not worrying about ratios this week though!
Do Not Start – Aka Hope Your Opponent Starts them instead.
Streamer *Bonus*- I may throw in an emerging and low roster % arm that can be a fun stream, but easily dropped after if you need to.
With Week 1 being a long week most pitchers will have two starts. Trust your draft, your judgement, and do not overreact to a possible bad first outing. Stay the course, and I will see you on April 5th for Week 2 rankings!
For some bonus content, I will feature three pitchers I am excited about this year, including my flag plant of an incoming breakout!

Bryan Bello – Bello was having a great 2025, and then that 5.4 ERA happened in September. The walks caught up to him, unfortunately, but he did still manage to limit the long ball. Let’s hope he builds off the WBC performance and carries that into the regular season.

Eury Perez – After missing all of 2024 with Tommy John Surgery Eury returned in 2025. A June return saw him post a 4.25 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP. I think he is still the top pitching prospect.

Gavin Williams – This is my flag plant right here; I believe Gavin Williams will break out and receive Cy Young votes in 2026. Post ASB 2025 Williams went 7-1 with a 2.18 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across 70.1 IP. It doesn’t hurt being in the AL Central as well.
WBC just finished (heartbreaker), one more week left of Spring Training… Opening Day 2026 is almost here!
Let the fun begin!
