Perfection achieved! Perfection sustained is TBD, but I don’t see how anyone can chase down Team Levy in All Beddict Tha God in any category. Maybe Ron Chi can catch Levy in saves, but I doubt it. Maybe Team Nereim can catch Levy in HRs, but considering he’s got Logan Morrison, and even worse, Lance McCullers, in his starting lineup still, I don’t see that happening either. The only other team in the league that seems to be playing still is The Talent Show, who’s in 2nd place. The Talent Show is so far behind Team Levy in every category though, there’s little chance they catch him either. So, this is Levy’s game to lose it would seem. The saving grace for Cram It and Backdoor Sliders is that despite reaching a perfect 120, the LCI for All Hail Beddict Tha God dropped to 99, meaning it’s now officially a below average league. That drop in LCI meant that moving from 119 to 120 had absolutely zero affect on Team Levy’s RCL Points, which stayed at 116.6. With only 3 owners really doing much, the LCI could continue to drop which would only narrow the gap. If the LCI in DFSers Anonymous or FCL grows above that 106 mark, things could get pretty tight. It’s a long shot, but Team Levy should send out a league wide e-mail to his stagnant league mates to try and drum up some activity. Maybe offer them all some Bed Bath & Beyond 20% off coupons if they come back and at least set a roster for the week. Anything would help with three weeks to go. Here’s what else went down in the RCLs in the week that was, Week 23:

**Insert tune to “Eye of the Tiger** GREY! GREY GREY GREY! GREY GREY GREEEY! **Record scratching as music comes to a halt** …fell to 4th. There, now I can’t be accused of not highlighting Grey’s week. Grey had the dubious honor this week of gaining points (0.5) but falling in the standings.
Big Magoo, Team McLeod and Yahoo Dalton Del Don all tied for the biggest gain this week with 3 points. Those 3 points for Magoo were enough to jump back over Grey in the standings It’s tight at the top and the top 4 have really separated themselves from the pack now. We’re poised for a fun finish as only 4.5 points separates 1st (J-FOH) from 4th (Grey). There are several categories up for grabs and to be perfectly honest, I think Grey might have the most to gain. Big Magoo has the most GS remaining and stands to gain ground on Team McLeod in Ks and Wins. That would be a 4 point swing, moving Magoo easily into 2nd. Grey meanwhile needs to chose his streamers carefully, he can’t afford to give up any ERA points to Big Magoo or Ralph, who are both about 0.04 points behind him. Where Grey can really make some noise though is in the HR department. No, not at Razzball HR, which is just JB in a dress, Home Runs! I mentioned it earlier this season, but it’s odd to see a Grey Albright led team struggling in power. With only 5 points though, that’s exactly what’s happened. With three weeks to go Grey is 10 HRs behind Big Magoo and 14 behind Team McLeod. If he were to pass both of them, he would not only gain 5 points himself, but knock them each down a point as well. That would put Grey at 90 points and into first place if everything remains the same. Grey is also just 1 Run behind Big Magoo, so you can see, there’s a lot to gain here for our fearless leader. Don’t expect FOH or Magoo to rollover though, it’s going to be a fight.
In other ‘Perts news, Ralph was this week’s biggest loser, giving back almost all of the 6.5 points he gained last week by dropping 5.5. He remains in an epic battle with JB…for 5th place.

The top 3 remained the same this week with Cram It gaining 1 RCL Point on Team Levy. Team lion jumped Big Magoo to take 4th place this week and Fatuous Jeffreys jumped two spots to 6th place. Simply Fred held onto the top 10 this week, dropping two spot to 7th. The bottom section of the top 10 completely fell off this week as myself, Team Son and MauledByPanda’s Samuel Colt Debate Team gave way to Guy Montag, Mordecai Brown Baggers and Hoboken Squat Cobblers.
WEEKLY LEADERS
The best of the best from the week that was.
R – 61 – Crooked Numbers (Rosterbators Anonymous) & THE CARDINALS (The Viz vs. The Commenters)
HR –26 – The Road Warrior (League Of Shadows) & Team bacon (Play with FOH)
RBIs – 70 – Light Tower Power (Nico Sux Dico)
SB – 12 – Hoboken Squat Cobblers (Diickin Around), Yu Betts Urias! (Night of the Living Zombinos) & Team McLeod (Razzball ‘Perty ‘Perts)
AVG – .335 – SWALLOW MY NUT (Saskatchewan) & M@’s Second (The Second Greatest)
K – 132 – Johnny Utahs (Great Knocks)
W – 11 – Monsters of Butt Rock (Fountains of Ralph)
SV – 17 – Calgary Cannons (Razzballero1)
ERA (Min. 40 IP) – 1.30 – Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins (12 Monkeys Clicking) (in 55.1 IP)
WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.78 – Vindictive Ross (Grey haired sack o balls) (in 43.1 IP)
Ties galore this week, but only one record came close to falling. Calgary Cannons now shares the weekly saves lead with Vin and Jackie of Stream or die!. That gives the Cannons at least a share of three weekly records. The Cannons hold weekly records in Ks and Wins as well.
Johnny Utahs came within 7 Ks of toppling the Cannons K record this week. Johnny is streaming his butt off lately as he works to make up ground in GS. I’m in one league with him and he’s routinely picking the waiver wire clean of probable starters every day. In fact, of the K leaders this week, Johnny Utahs held the first, second, third and sixth spot on the leaderboard. Whoa.

Summary: As you may know, friend of the RCLs, VinWins is the tabulator of all things numbers for our leagues. He is an amazing person that is ridiculously helpful when it comes to the Master Standings and this post. For the Team of the Week Vin has constructed a little formula that generates a point total based on the stats accrued for each team that week. I’ve taken a gander and I couldn’t come up with any changes to said formula. Given my DFS background I think I have a pretty good idea of how things should be weighted. Is this subjective? Sure, a bit, but what are you gonna do? The record for most TOW points this year was set just a few weeks ago in week 20 by Prospector Ralph’s squad, Bag Boy. Bag Boy whipped up 414.84 points that week. This week, The Road Warrior gave Ralph a run for his money with 412.65 points. We’ve only hit 400+ points one other time this year (week 9, Team Salter, 406.86) so that gives you an idea of what kind of weeks these guys had. Will Ralph hold on to the best week of the year or will you steal his glory? We’ll find out, but congrats to The Road Warrior for giving it a heck of a shot. It takes a lot to get all those ABs and still get in 92.1 IP, nice work.
