Our first post-trade deadline week and we’re into the 20s on the weekly recap…things are really winding down now. There is still plenty of time to make some moves though, especially in your IP. Do yourself a big favor and make sure you are hitting the 1,000 IP mark and if possible, hit that 1400 max while you’re at it. In case you are wondering: 768 IP would be on pace to min. 1000 and 1075 IP would be on pace to max 1400. As of right now, we’re looking pretty good on the IP min front: 369 teams have reached the 1000 IP minimum. (70%) and only 20 teams are on pace to fall below 1000 IP. Most of those are probably abandoned, but if one is you and you’re reading this, go pick up some starters ASAP! Meanwhile, 217 teams are on pace to hit 1400 IP. One team hit the 1400 IP mark this week, our first of the year:
The Framchise (RCL 21) – Here is their pitching staff:
Hunter Brown
Corbin Burnes
Dylan Cease
Gerrit Cole
J.P. France
Lucas Giolito
Andrew Heaney
Merrill Kelly
Framber Valdez
Josiah Gray
Andrew Abbott
Nick Lodolo
Marcus Stroman
They finish with a 4.00 ERA, a 1.251 WHIP, 87 Wins, 1441 strikeouts, and zero saves.
Here’s what else happened in the Razzball Commenter Leagues this week in the week that was, week 20:
Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land. We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them. The heading is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow along as we go.
The only movement in the standings this week was B_Don and Kirksey swapping spots at the bottom. MarmosDad and Laura each gained 5 points, the most in the league while Grey and Cram It each lost 5 points, the most in the league. This, despite Grey leading the league in runs, HRs, and steals. Grey also led the league in IP (67.2) but only managed one win…that could be due to the 5.05 ERA and 1.374 ERA his team posted. Those numbers likely also account for the dip in league points. Son remains in first, just watching all the carnage happening below him.
Each week we’ll also take a look at the top ten overall standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, the RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from all across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers just like you.
Rudy continues to hand on for team Razzball over in the Razzslam. He’ll need to make up some ground to challenge for the top spot though as Asher is dominating this round.

TEAM OF THE WEEK
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it the previous week.
Team: Orlando Calrissians
League: Original Recipe
Stats: AVG: .281, R: 54, HR: 18, RBI: 62, SB: 12
IP: 53.1, ERA: 3.54, WHIP: 1.256, K: 51, W: 5, SV: 6
Summary: It was a fairly tough week for pitching ratios, but Orlando made a pretty good run at it this week and had the offense to match. Stolen Vortex has very nice offensive numbers but their ratios were…quite bad. OC is clobbering Original Recipe right now, with a 17.5 point lead. This week it was Christian Walker and Julio Rodriguez (.568 batting average!) who led the way on offense and Kyle Hendricks and Merrill Kelly leading the pitching staff. All Julio teams are rejoicing and making huge gains this week it seems. Nice work, Orlando!
