We are extremely grateful for all the kind words, inspirations, and contributions that Razzball Nation has given us over the years as we built up our fantasy baseball tools for both Roto (Streamonator, Hittertron, Weekly Hitter and Pitcher planners) and Daily Fantasy Sports (DFSBot) players.
After much deliberation, we decided to move all our daily tools (Streamonator, Hittertron, DFSBot) to a subscription model. Don’t worry – the rest of the site is staying free. This just allows us to make a little money on these tools (we’ve lost money to date if you take development costs into account) and continue to invest in enhancements. We are aiming to have most of the enhancements available on Opening Day and all by May 1st – see below for what we have on tap:
- Ability to customize the Streamonator and Hittertron $ values based on your league settings
- Additional stats will be added to Hittertron (SLG, OPS, TB)
- Our good friends BaseballPress.com are going to provide us with today’s lineups soon after they are posted. We plan on updating Streamonator, Hittertron, and DFSBot throughout the day to reflect those changes.
- DFSBot will include up to 5 DFS services (only had two in 2014).
- DFSBot will project both standard $/pt as well as ‘upside’ $/pt – providing an estimated value on hitters/pitchers should they have about an 85th percentile game (vs the normal 50th percentile). This is HUGE for GPP tournaments!
- DFSBot will have both ‘Today’ and ‘Tomorrow’ projections. It will update whenever the ‘tomorrow’ salary data is available for each DFS site.
As an added bonus, we are going to update the Season to Date and Rest of Season Player Raters to allow you to adjust for your league settings. This will only be available to subscribers. (We wanted to have this in place for 2015 preseason, but s**t happens sometimes. Those asterisks say, “Hi.”)
We are offering two subscription packages:
- Roto Deluxe ($19.99/yr, $4.99/month, $0.50/day per page) – This includes Streamonator, Hittertron, and the Weekly Hitter/Pitcher planners. We know many of you are playing in free or low-stakes leagues and we have purposefully kept this price point as low as possible.
- DFS Premium ($49.99/yr, $9.99/month, $1.00/day per page) – This includes everything in Roto Deluxe as well as the DFSBot. See below for links with more details on each tool.
Final note: Before you count your pennies, please note we have partnered with several DFS sites including our sponsor DraftKings to offer free subscriptions to any new users who make minimum deposits (please see the subscriptions page on the necessary deposit requirements).
