Hope everyone had a nice long weekend, for those who got one. I’m keeping my intro short and sweet this week since I have the day off and despite the rain moving through (so many baseball rainouts this weekend), I plan to enjoy some time off from the grind, maybe stare at my rosters a bit, and contemplate why I started so many teams with Vlad Jr. and Fernando Tatis from the 11 spot. I believe I have three teams with this exact build, netting me three homers and 16 steals, and it’s almost June! These two need to get scorching hot after the unofficial start of summer. Here’s hoping.
Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land. We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them. The heading is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow along as we go.

Derek held on to first for another week, adding 1.5 points. Mike gained 4.5 this week (the most in the league) to move into second (up from fifth) and is hot on Derek’s heels, just 5.5 back. Mike had an outstanding 1.44 ERA and 0.847 WHIP in 43.2 IP. His squad also co-led the league in steals (with Grey) with 12. Coolwhip moved the other this week, dropping 7.5 points and sliding to fifth.
Each week we’ll also take a look at the top ten overall standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, the RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from all across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers just like you.

The standings held relatively firm this week with James Sweeny remaining on top of the heap. Roto_Wan moved up a slot while Andy and Mike C held onto fifth and seventh for another week. Maybe now we’ve reached the point where standings don’t change.
Darius Austin had the most points this week with 636, moving them up 27 places to 14th overall. Meanwhile, John Giancotti moved up the most spots this week, gaining 68 places in the standings and moving to 142nd overall thanks to 621 points scored.

Team: DFresh
League: NOTLZ
Stats: AVG: .299, R: 52, HR: 17, RBI: 58, SB: 5

Summary: A common theme of TOW possibilities this week was Ketel Marte. The man could not be stopped. The one-man wrecking crew went 15 for 28 (.536) with 3 home runs, 11 runs scored, and 12 driven in. (Lead all MLB players in hits, runs, and RBI this week). Willson Contreras and Jordan Walker each hit 2 homers and drove in 8. Sal Stewart and CJ Abrams also homered twice, while Jackson Merrill chipped in a couple of steals. Meanwhile, Aaron Judge contributed 1 long ball among his 3 hits. On the pitching side, Max Meyer led the way with 13 scoreless innings in 2 victories. He allowed just 9 baserunners and struck out 14. Braxton Ashcraft (1 ER/9 K), Kevin Gausman (1 ER/8 K), and Logan Henderson (0 ER/7 K) all won their starts. Bryan King threw 3 and a third shutout innings and earned 2 saves, while teammate Bryan Abreu and Andres Munoz added 1 save each. The big week pushed DFresh up a whopping 15 points to move up from 5th to 1st in one of, if not the toughest RCL. Nice work, D!

Good stuff Commish!! The Cobblers appreciate your work!
And we can relate on your unlucky draft picks. The ECFBL trophy is definitely headed somewhere else this Fall as there will be no repeat for we Cobblers. As speculated at the end of last season, we were ridiculously fortunate to win…and that the 2026 baseball gods/regression fairies would get their revenge.
Oh well. We’ll get em next year right??!!!?!? Take care Matt!
Cool, thanks Truss!
heck ya, nice work!
Grats DFresh, and THANK YOU for these great updates Matt!
