League Updates – Razzball Commenter League & Fantasy Razzball – May 10th
This post goes out to all you lovely surfers participating in one of our leagues. Going forward, we’ll have weekly updates (on Sunday nights) to the Master Standings and we’ll note the ‘last updated’ date on the standings page. The standings links are available in the top left of our page (under Razzball Leagues).
Here are the top 10s for both leagues. You can click the links below to see the complete standings. A tip o’ the hat to Anthony G and Mike Podhorzer for setting the pace.
Feel free to trash talk away in the Comments…

BVC Moving on up! 12th, 12th and now 5th. Fly BVC fly! Losing 4.5 yesterday to drop to 88.5 didn’t help.

NoonTime, you may be soaring now, but I’ll pass you within the month now that I have Zito and CJ Wilson!!!
So I guess this means that Big Blue Marble has the best overall numbers? Way to go guys.

Oye Como Va! Ervin’s starting tomorrow against the Sox! Maybe I’m just a reckless, impatient, and terribly handsome fantasy manager, but I think I’m rollin’ him out there, first start be damned…

And just when I get Josh Hamilton back, Ryan Ludwick gets broken. This is turning out to be harder than it should be.

@Grey/Rudy: Wondering if you might come up with a term for the glossary when someone has a player in both the Razzball and normal fantasy leagues?? Or is this reaching?

Just got offered Liriano,John Baker(Who I would prolly just drop), and Corey Hart for Russel Martin and Matt Capps. I have Iannetta and Weiters on my bench.
Which side do you like and do you think I could get more for those players?

Which cereal outfielder has more value – Crispie Young or Coco Crisp? And who has the most upside – Coghlin, Gamel or Reimold?
Thanks in advance, this is by far the best and funniest fantasy website out there. Too bad I can’t tell the other schmos in my league about it until after the season.
[Reply]
@Infamous: I’d want Liriano and Hart.
@jerkstore: Krispie, but he’s in the can really badly right now. So right now, Crisp. Gamel. And thanks!

@Grey: Another deal came through on the 2 RP for 1 SP front that saved me from my inclination to go forward with the Ibanez, Sherrill, Percival for Manny, Oswalt, Sonanstine trade. I traded Percival and Downs for Shields. 4th trade in the RCL. Hopefully this will solidify my rotation: Lincecum, Johan, Bedard, Shields, E.Santana, Kershaw, Price. Still have Sherrill, Valverdenuts, Hanrahan, Cruz, Hawkins.

Percival blows up and Howell gets the save. Who should be next in line?
[Reply]
May 13th, 2009 at 8:27 pm
Percival blew up in a non-save situation…. he is 5 for 5 in saves… why do they both with “closers” in non-save situations… let them throw an extra session in the pen if they need the work.

Congrats to DamRich, manager of the Ormond Beach Hog Hunters; currently the leading candidate for Mr. Irrelevant of the RCL.

@Doc: Percival isn’t going to lose the job over a crappy non-save outing. It’s his to lose.
