I know what you’re thinking, “Roger Dorn did not drop by Razzball HQ?” Well, Roger Dorn did indeed drop by Razzball HQ and sat down (virtually over Skype) to answer some hard hitting questions. And you thought my tangential Hollywood connections were gonna go to waste. I got one word for you. It starts with H and it ends with A and it’s two letters — HA! A friend of mine produced his new movie, Bad Actress, and, if you like these types of interviews, do us a favor and queue up the movie at Netflix. To get on a soapbox for a second (I won’t be on this soapbox too long because I get vertigo like Lidge), indie films don’t get distribution through main channels and now Netflix is pulling a Blockbuster and not even stocking indies unless the demand is great enough, so if enough of you queue it up, then Netflix might order it. If you queue the movie, it doesn’t even mean they’re going to send it to your house because they don’t even have it yet, so queue it up and then when it’s in stock do what you do. Basically, small businesses cater to an outside-the-box audience, and then they become a big business and stop doing what made them successful. Now when is ESPN buying us?!
