Nick had his heart set on doing a 2013 fantasy baseball mock draft.  And who am I to disappoint people?  I’m not my father!  Sorry, my shrink says it’s good to get that stuff off my chest.  The problem with doing a mock draft this early is things change even if no games are played.  People are traded, people get injured building a snow fortress with their nephew, Billy, and other people start drafting.  Yes, other people drafting makes a difference.  Say I like Adam Jones 14th overall and everyone starts drafting him 22nd overall.  Then I can go to 18th and still feel comfortable about getting him.  Finally, there were only three of us drafting so it’s not like I was worried I was going to scoop myself from a player I really wanted.  All that is okay, because this is just a mock draft.  It’s an exercise that should be taken with a grain of salt.  Okay, enough hedging — draft on, drafter!  Anyway, here’s a 2013 fantasy baseball mock draft, now with Mike Trout in the top five:
