The Fantasy Baseball season is officially coming to an end. This has simultaneously felt like the longest season ever while also feeling like it ended way too soon. For those of you who are still looking to make that final push to win your league; every last stat counts. That is why it is so important to keep an eye on what is happening around the league.

  • Over the last 14 days, two players have stolen five or more bases. The first is obvious, Adalberto Mondesi, however, number two is J.T. Realmuto. Realmuto has been a bit of a disappointment in the power department but his 13 SBs have gone a long way for his fantasy managers.
  • Jose Siri has swiped two bags while blasting four homers for the Astros. The post-post-post-post hype prospect is finally getting a chance and is running with it. The playing time might be a bit sporadic but once the Astros clinch he could play every day
  • Another potential post-hype guy is Nick Gordon. He has a couple of homers and three steals in the last week while hitting over .300. The Twins should allow him to find everyday ABs making him worth it for those of you chasing late SBs
  • Cleveland faces the Chicago White Sox this week and while Grandal has good CS numbers he does allow a decent number of SBs. Cleveland loves to run and could rack up some numbers
  • If Texas decides to let Jonah Heim play some more in this last week, look for Baltimore and the Angels to add a few more SBs to their final tally. Cleveland also finishes the season with Heim.
  • When deciding between two players looks for those guys just shy of pretty numbers (10/20/30) players love getting to these benchmarks and as a result, could run some more late to make sure they get there
