It’s very much silly season for our leagues at this point, and will be for a few more weeks.  This is when we can have huge swings in the standings based on 2-3 good (or bad) days of stats.  So, fear not if you’re off to a slow start.  If you have a lot of Astros rostered, who are visiting Coors this week, your standings could turn in a hurry.  Of course, it can also turn on a Roki Sasaki stream, so give and take.  Our first Master Standings run won’t be until the first week in May, but VinWins has once scoured the standings and pulled all the awesome data for a weekly round-up, and we’ll do mini round-ups in the weeks between.  Thanks, Vin!  Let’s take a look at what we’ve got from the week that was, week 2

‘PERTY ‘PERTS

Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land.  We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them.  The heading is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow along as we go.

Derek led every offensive category except for stolen bases this week to rocket up the standings this week.  He and B_don each gained 11.5 points  MarmosDad’s run at the top lasted one whole week as he dropped 14.5 points and fell five spots to sixth.  Kirksey lost the most points this week, with 17 points down the drain.

RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE

Each week we’ll also take a look at the top ten overall standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, the RazzSlam.  This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from all across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers just like you.

RazzSlam, powered by NFBC, now in permanent dark mode!  I’m into it.  It was a good week for Derek, shooting to the top of the ‘Perts League and now sitting pretty in RazzSlam as well.  He and Mike C are holding it down for team Razzball. Special_K_14 had the biggest week in RazzSlam, gaining 728 points this week and moving up 219 spots to sixth overall.

TOP TEAMS

TEAM LEAGUE PTS
Mudville Nine RCL 1 104.5
There’s a drive into deep left field RCL 29 103
Geeqs RCL 15 101.5
Eggplant RCL 16 101.5
LatchKeyKid RCL 28 101.5

Proving that it’s silly season, there are once again five teams over 100 roto points, none of which are repeated from last week.  Congrats to our fab five!

TRADES

All the trades that have gone down in the past week.  Public ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged.

DATE LEAGUE DETAILS
4/2/2026 RCL 23
1DraftDodgers traded Marcus Semien to Btigges for Kazuma Okamoto
4/4/2026 RCL 9
Captain Longballs 2 traded Jacob Wilson & Freddy Peralta to Stargell for Kevin McGonigle
4/5/2026 FCL
Frequent Schmohawks traded Jordan Romano to Hello, It’s me Again! for Tatsuya Imai

Three deals this week and some absolute steals.  Okamoto for Semien is obscene.  Semien has been droppable in most leagues.  I love McGonigle, but if someone offered me Wilson and Freddy P, I would have a VERY hard time saying no.  I also don’t trust Romano to hold this job all year, but I also didn’t trust Pagan last year, so what do I know?

A full week, means new records.  How long these records last is TBD, but I sure hope that stolen base record gets crushed soon.  Seven-way ties are no fun, I’m not writing all that out.  If you want to see the teams who tied, you can always check out Vin’s page, HERE.

Speaking of Vin, he also has some year long data you can view HERE.  This includes category leaders to date.  Vin also dropped some stat tidbits to share from the week:

52 teams had an ERA under 2 as pitching dominated early.

40 teams hit under .200 with only 1 hitting over .300.

And some yearly stat tidbits:

60 teams have 0 saves; 4 have no wins. Bad News Bears (RCL 24) has 8 wins in 61.67 innings for the RCL best 7.7 IP/Win.

30 teams have made 0 moves. The average is 11 moves. WAR Bacon (RCL 20) leads with 45.

TEAM OF THE WEEK

Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it the previous week.

Andy Pages hit .583 with two homers and seven runs driven in.  Brice Turang hit only .211, but stole three bases. Shohei Ohtani hit a couple home runs and also picked up a win, striking out six in six shutout innings. Chase Burns struck out 16 in 11 innings over two starts, winning one. Jesus Luzardo and Gavin Williams also won games while striking out 11 and 10, respectively. Really not fair. Grey would obviously be in 1st place if he didn’t spend his nights watching all those games and writing those incredible updates, and his days answering everyone’s questions.

Yup, just awesome. Thanks for this compilation. Commented in my first weekly round up post last week, and BACK. I love this! (my first year). I have work to do to catch up in moves made, currently at 41 made lol. Because I likely won’t be winning any of the individual cats weekly anytime soon, but I am holding my own in 4th place.

Thank you, for a great tourney RazzBall.
