There is nothing better in life than giving away stuff that people want and not having to foot the bill. There’s a reason why Robin Hood stole from the rich or why Oprah got so excited when she gave her whole audience new cars (on the automaker’s dime).
Actually, scratch that. It’s better to be the one that gets the stuff. But being the giver is a close second.
So I was pretty psyched that LG and LG-One chose us as part of a blogger outreach campaign (“The Hunt for 3D Remarkable Content”) for their LG Cinema 3D TV because I almost got to be both the giver and the receiver (hmm, that doesn’t sound right…)
For the past week or so, Mrs. Gamble and myself have been trialing a 55″ LG Cinema 3D TV in our living room. They offered a 30 day trial so I can write firsthand about the TV as part of this contest. The picture’s great – feels much bigger than our current 42″ TV. (Great – now I’m going to have to shell out for a new TV…) It comes Wi-Fi enabled which is sweet (easier than fiddling with Blu-Ray IMO). There’s a ‘3D mode’ that converts 2D content into 3D (glasses are included) which is handy, in concept, since almost nothing on TV today is shot in 3D. This feature really didn’t do much for me but it’s easy enough to switch in and out of 3D mode.
So I can say in full honesty that one of you readers is going to get a sweet TV for free.
It wouldn’t be Razzball if we just gave the TV away. One of you will have to earn it through your fantasy baseballer skills.
