Yesterday, Luis Garcia went 5 IP, 0 ER, 7 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 2.94. Officially, Luis Garcia #1 is outpacing Luis Garcia #2 and Luis Garcia #3 by a lot. Step up your game, Luis Garcias! If I had a couple billion dollars, I’d buy a MLB team and fill the whole team with Luis Garcias. A Luis Garcia at each position. “Luis winds up and–a hot smash to third! Luis Garcia snags it, and goes to Luis Garcia at 2nd and onto Luis Garcia at first. Double play complete!” Name that team the Garcias and get LG to sponsor us. Prolly shouldn’t be putting this out there because Elon Musk is going to steal this idea.
“No more Tesla for you, Mr. Musk?”
“Sadly, this is my last day. On the bright side, I’ve got an idea to start a Luis Garcia-filled baseball team.”
Sigh, until I have that money in hand, I’m gonna have to look at Luis Garcia for fantasy baseball. This Luis Garcia’s peripherals are 9.9 K/9,2.4 BB/9, 3.55 xFIP, and his fastball velocity is up. Last time I looked at him, his stats weren’t as good, but they’ve clearly bounced back recently. His career ERA is 3.44 in 196 1/3 IP with a 9.4 K/9. Only time that’s putting me to sleep is during his rock-a-bye pitching windup. Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Yordan Alvarez – 3-for-5, 3 RBIs and his 9th and 10th homer, hitting .271. A single raindrop on the car window rolls down, from the outside it looks like a tear on my eye. The inference would make sense, because I’m driving in a car that has a life-size inflatable of Franmil Reyes. Took a screenshot of Captain Woo Cubano’s 9th and 10th homers, and shipped them via email to Franmil with the subject heading: Do This Please. I hope he gets it and opens it. If not I will send a virus. Thinking Legionnaire’s.
Jeremy Pena – 3-for-3, 1 run, but left with knee discomfort. He can’t be hurt, I won’t allow it. Not until Tatis returns, at least. I need a prayer triangle, immediately.
Kyle Tucker – 1-for-3, 1 run, and his 8th steal, and he also homered (5) earlier in the day, but that game was Wednesday’s suspended game continuation, so no official slam and legs. I know, I know! Very disappointing. How can I make it up to you? You being Kyle Tucker, not you you.
Josh Winder – 3 1/3 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 2.45. There were zero good pitchers yesterday. As Fonzie’s horse would say, NAY! There was one good pitcher we thought was going, Winder, but it turned out there was zero. So, I still like Winder — but you barely know her! — this was not a good-looking start to put it pretty plainly. His peripherals still look decent, or styll as my autocorrect wanted to write. Go home, autocorrect, you’re drunk!
Lucas Sims – Hit the IL with back spasms. More like Lucas Spasms! High five the crap out of me! Right now! No? Okay. Warren will hold court in the (1953-196)9th. I didn’t rush out to grab Warren anywhere, because I don’t want an ulcer. But if your gastric system is sturdier than some half-Jew from Jersey, then go for it. He won’t be in this afternoon’s Buy, because he’s here now.
Tyler Stephenson – 3-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 4th homer. I keep saying he’s going to surprise the world by being the 2nd best fantasy catcher this year behind only Sal P., but Sal P. is gonna get a run for his money at number one.
Connor Overton – 6 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 7 baserunners (4 BBs), 1 K, ERA at 1.59. Keep facing the Pirates and I can understand why the Overton window keeps moving.
JT Brubaker – 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 5.34. Free him up to be an ace on another team. It’s only fair.
Steven Matz – 6 2/3 IP, 3 ER, 7 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 6.40, as he was bumped up in the rotation. Bumping up Steven Matz a day reminded me to order cyanide pills, then I realized it was so he could face the O’s instead of the Giants, and I went to move him into my lineup, but realized I benched him already in weekly leagues, so I was once again reaching for the cyanide pills after he pitched decently. A story in three parts.
Dylan Carlson – 1-for-4 and his 2nd homer. Due to Tyler O’Neill and Dylan Carlson’s Statcast, you wouldn’t have to get me very drunk to convince me they’ve been playing in a wind tunnel and the wind is pointed directly at them at the plate. Carlson’s average exit velocity would be the slow lane on a country road. Beep, beep, Whit Merrifield is passing on the left.
Jorge Mateo – 1-for-4 and his 2nd homer. Did a gut check on the Player Rater to see how well (or bad) Mateo has been this year, and he’s around the 12th best shortstop, so decent. He’s about as valuable as Bo Bichette. Kill me now.
Anthony Bemboom – 1-for-4 and his 1st homer, hitting .140. Oh, no wonder Adley Rutschman’s still in the minors. They have Anthony Bemboom. His last name sounds like someone talking to their mechanic. “It was driving fine, and Bemboom.”
Beau Brieske – 6 IP, 2 ER, 7 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 3.86. On MLB’s Thursday getaway day, they made up some names to see if anyone would notice. Beau Brieske was the point where Grey Albright, Fantasy Master Lothario (don’t abbreviate) said, “Nuh-uh, that’s a made-up name.” Firstly, all Beaus are either Bridges or golden retrievers. Was Beau Brieske in The Fabulous Baker Boys? No? Okay, is he a dog? No? Okay, he doesn’t exist then.
Michael Fulmer – 1 IP, 1 ER, ERA at 2.70. It was a super short schedule day, so allow me to check in on Fulmer, and say that I see some teams in the comments carrying him, and I don’t understand why. The Tigers are worse than the A’s. Soto is their crappy closer. What are you trying to do with Fulmer?
James Kaprielian – 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 1 K, ERA at 4.97. Tigers and A’s are the Spiderman pointing at each meme of two crizzappy teams. Streamonator hates Kaprielian’s next start, and I don’t think he’s in a position to ever be streamed, outside of desperate situations.
Bryce Harper – 2-for-4, 3 RBIs and his 7th homer. Before the game, he was diagnosed with a tear in his UCL. Oh, yeah, this is going to end well. Totally gonna be fine. Like the West Coast rap stations in the late 90s, no biggie! He still homered, but I do not feel good about this.
Johan Camargo – 1-for-3, 3 RBIs and his 3rd homer. I take no pleasure for saying this because I have Stott, but I’d play Camargo over him too.
Zack Wheeler – 5 1/3 IP, 3 ER, 7 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 4.26. Feels like a few starts now where it’s: Yes, he’s coming out of it. Then it becomes: No, he’s not.
Cody Bellinger – 1-for-5 and his 5th homer. On one hand, he’s on pace for only 25 homers. On the other hand, I wish Matt Olson were only on pace for 25 homers. On a third hand that is a mitten on a mop handle, Cody Bellinger doesn’t even walk anymore. He’s lost literally every aspect of his 2019 game.
Tyler Anderson – 6 IP, 7 ER, ERA at 4.40. That one was for the people who thought he was good. Keeping you honest!
Luis Gil – 4 IP, 4 ER, as he was recalled for a spot start from Scranton/Jamaal Wilkes-Barre. Unrelated, but I can’t believe Clay Holmes didn’t get this win.
Giancarlo Stanton – 3-for-3, 3 runs, 6 RBIs and his 8th and 9th homer. Y’all laughed when I dressed up as a barbell and sat on his front porch with card saying, “From Judgey.” Who’s laughing now that I’m inside his house?
Aaron Judge – 2-for-4, 3 runs and his 11th homer. Guys who can hit the ball 475 feet? Yeah, they can hit a dead ball out for a homer still.
Josh Donaldson – 2-for-5, 3 RBIs and his 3rd homer, hitting .224. Only took Donaldson about a month to put it behind him his anger of helping a team win that includes Gerrit Cole.
Dylan Cease – 4 IP, 6 ER, 8 baserunners, 11 Ks, ERA at 3.55. Yeah, but how about that xFIP?!
Yoan Moncada – 1-for-5, 3 RBIs and his 1st homer. Yoaner goner! Does that rhyme? Hmm, I like rhymes. Let me try again in the next blurb.
Jon Heasley – 3 1/3 IP, 1 ER, as he was recalled from Triple-A. Jon Heasley? I thought I read about you but it was Ron Weasley.
Taylor Hearn – 5 IP, 0 ER, 1 hit, 3 walks, 5 Ks, ERA at 5.26. Funny (not haha), I keep seeing Hearn as a guy I’m interested in, then I see his ERA, and, while ERA isn’t everything, really rains on the ol’ parade. Plus, I already have a Naylor Ham, no room for a Taylor Hearn.
Brad Miller – 2-for-3, 2 runs and his 5th homer, and 2nd homer in two games. He won’t be in this afternoon’s Buy column, but he’s absolutely a hot schmotato, and that should last for about 3-5 days. Like clockwork. A clock that has a day and homer hand.
Robinson Cano – Supposedly signing with the Padres. If you sign Cano, you do it for one reason: To trade him to Seattle for Jarred Kelenic. I want Cano to get to 3,000 hits (needs 368) just so we can have some Hall of Fame handwringing. Sadly, he’s prolly gonna fall about 360 hits short, as it shouldn’t take the Padres more than three weeks to realize Cano should be retired.
Taijuan Walker – 7 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 1 K, ERA at 3.00. Never realized what a Mack Truck Taijuan was, but on a play at third where he was covering, he laid out Juan Soto like Walker was a brick wall (and nearly gave me a heart attack). Streamonator hates his next start, and I don’t trust Taijuan Brickhouse at all.
Mark Canha – 3-for-4, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 2nd homer, hitting .313, and has been taking fielding practice at 1st base. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Mets DFA Dom Smith. Shame, because he’s sitting on zero homers, but I just know he can lead the majors in homers.
Juan Soto – 2-for-4 and his 8th homer, and 2nd homer in as many games, and he just missed another homer yesterday for a double dong day at the park. A’la Top Gun, “Sexy Dr. Pepper, I’ll be your soda fountain man any time.”
Joan Adon – 3 2/3 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 7.03. Not a great pitcher, but Joan Adon did more for feminist beat poetry than anyone.
THERE’S A NEW POST FOR FOLLOWUPS FOR ME
10 team weekly H2H – 6×5 – Standard + OPS
Who would you rather roster, now thru 2023?
Bichette or Trea Turner? How close?
Points league, my relievers are Gallegos, bard, and Presley, who have all been very underwhelming. Thinking about ditching saves just about all together and picking up George Kirby and maybe someone like tony gonsolin
Keeper H2H points league (-AB, Hits,XBH,HR,SB)
Trade away India ($5) for Witt ($5) or Ke’Bryan Hayes ($16) or hold? Prices increase $2 per year
Kershaw just hit the IL 15. Shallow league. Better pick up for the foreseeable future, Carrasco or Cortes? Or grab both if possible? Thanks
Cortes
How would you rank these starts? I need to pick two.
Rasmussen vs. Tor
Manaea @ Atl
JorMont @ ChW
Drew, JoMo
Gracias
De nada
I already said i had one more trade but i lied hahaha league is trade happy today. Thoughts on Arozerena and neuse for cronenworth and marsh?
Randy side, it’s fair
Happy Friday! If you haven’t watched Vogelbach hit his latest homer you should – it’s a joy.
Luis Castillo was not a draft target, I’m guessing, for many of your readers; but he’s back now and no longer has Winker, Castellanos, and Suarez playing “defense” for him. Would you make a speculative play for him in a QS format, 13 teams? I was thinking about offering Gonsolin straight up for him.
Thanks!
Ha, I did see Vogelbach…Everything he does is fun
I’d take him over Gonsolin
Thanks! Love Vogelbach – maybe I should just pick him up for the fun factor!
Yup! ha
Rodgers or Lux. Blech.
Haha, blech indeed…Rodgers
Grey, T Rogers reminds me of Castillo in the first half of last season with the jacked up change….he eventually figured it out, and I think Rogers should, too given that there doesn’t seem to be an injury.
Thoughts?
Hope so, but this has the added issue of Rogers was overworked last year and has less a track record
I didn’t realize he was overworked….doesn’t SEEM to be an injury issue, though….and as far as track record, I viewed as good that he’s young. How would you feel if he was 35 and this was happening? lol I have read that it may be a grip issue with respect to the change due to the new ball…who knows.
He might be tired vs. injury…Coolwhip broke down Rogers’s issues…I’m sure Rogers is aware of it, it’s obvious, but fixing the issue is harder than identifying… Here’s Coolwhip’s: https://razzball.com/rogers-needs-a-plan-to-end-arm-conflict/
GREEEEEEEEYYYYY
So I’m still in first in my 12 team roto keeper 5×5 QS, OPS, SV+HLD league. 1 point up on 2nd, 10 up on third.
3rd just made 2 separate trades for the 3 categories that they need (R, SB, SV+HLD) by trading for Merrifield, Arozarena and Kenley Jansen and gave up….wait for it….Leiter, Baz, Gore. Awful trades I’m not happy about it as all are keepable for $8 next year which isn’t even that great.
I’m 1st of 2nd in all categories except SB, K and QS. I have my sights set on a trade for Ramirez and Bassitt and the guy is looking for a $38 Vlad. I feel like this is a huge risk as I might be taking a loss in a bunch of categories in order to pick up some stuff. I would be dropping Sonny Gray to get this done
Thoughts? I also have a $13 Witt Jr and a $6 Grayson Rodriguez that I could offer instead that would hurt more for next year vs hurting this year which probably would make more sense
I’d take JoRam/Bassitt
I was thinking it seems fairly reasonable to do. I can also pray that BAL brings your son up soon and I can get some stats from him as well
Thanks
He should be up soon
oh he also has Bryant on the DL should I ask for him too?
Sure
<3
I offereed him $38 Vlad, $6 Sonny Gray and $6 G. Moreno for JoRam, Byrant, Bassitt, none of which are keepable
thank you for talking this out with me :) much appreciated as always
No problem
@Grey: next week, need to start two of the following. who do you like?
ray – @ bos
skubal – @ cle
jo gray – @ mia
kirby – @ box
bradish – vs nyy, vs tb
thanks!
Ray, Gray
None are great
yeah, i know. hoping somehow javier gets a start next week at home vs texas, but not sure if thats gonna happen…
Yup
give a listen to new kendrick yet? im into it….
It’s so good, bro
right?? hes on a different level…so worth the wait.
Haha, yes!
in a redraft league, better stash, gorman or lewis?
Lewis
thanks! last one (until buy/sell is up). do you have any faith in beiber? would you give up ketel or polanco for him?
Not really, but I’d give up Ketel
Do you like Marsh over Grisham?
Thanks
Yes
my acuna and rojas (‘zona) for his ohtani and manny machado…20 team dynasty.
Machado side
Health issues aside, but would it be crazy for 2022 Pena > Correa?
Nope
10 team OPS Weekly H2H:
Bell or Abreu ROS?
Abreu
Currently, have Sheldon Neuse @ 2nd Base, would you drop him and add Gleyber or Brad Miller?
12 team h2h Ave & OPS league. I am short on stolen bases on my roster as is.
Gleyber
Why I own Fulmer although I never commented about him… I play in a saves+holds league and he qualifies at sp. Based on my roto format with daily lineups, the sp designation is a plus. He allows me to carry another reliever in a sp spot where most teams can only use 3 (rp, rp, p).
He may not get a ton of s+h but that 15-18 is more than I’d get if I just used 3 relievers. He started off well w/o allowing runs but 2 of his last 3 outings have hurt more than helped. Would you keep him around in this format? If someone better comes around, I’d move on from him. I have duran in one league in the same kind of format.
I’d think you could find better, Duran is much better
Duran is owned in that league. Knebel and Kittredge are others who are owned. I guess I call this SHAGNOF
Depends who is available then
I originally had drafted ashby for this role but he hasn’t been great and was starting recently. Nobody else is available now. I have whitlock too who I love and may end up in relief since the bos bullpen is a dumpster fire. Fulmer will be cut if I find someone better.
Gotcha, that’s fair
Ok, so I drafted Andrew Vaughn with one of the last picks in the draft. He looked great to start the year before injury. I’ve replaced by picking up Tellez and Naylor from the wire.
Last nights rehab Vaughn hit 2 solo HRs, 2 walks, and 3 runs scored.
What do I do with my OF once he returns? Who is the odd man out of this group? I have 5 OF spots and 1 Utility spot, which is where I have Tellez, since he’s only 1B/DH eligible.
My OF is Castillianos, Bellinger, Yelich, Ward, Julio Rodriguez, Naylor, and Vaughn.
You can lose Vaughn
Give Cano a shot over Lux as my MI or go with Rosario, Wendle, Arraez, Thairo, Kim, Caeser Hernandez or Adam Frazier?
No
Last trade of the day both ended up not happening so i was offered one final one of luis garcia for jeremy pena thoughts? Not feeling it personally but doesn’t seem too bad.
Sounds fair
Hi Grey!
Just as we all predicted, Colin Moran is the best hitter in the league for the last 7 days. *Stares deeply into the mirror*
Bo and Mateo about the same value, you say? *Starts applying clown make up*
Wheeler looked good until the 6th, and his velocity was back so that’s pretty neat. *Puts the red nose firmly in place*
Which do you prefer overall ROS for a 5×5 RCL:
Segura or L. Urias?
Thanks as always, and have a great weekend!
-IANASM
Hahaha, I know, ugh…Urias
You too!
One more random trade question… What are your thoughts my L Urias and Berrios for Ty France in a 10 team RCL? Would you look for a better return?
France but close
Top two to keep for bench (league counts AVG and OBB as separate categories): Naylor, Nimmo, Miranda, Owen Miller, Royce Lewis
Naylor, Nimmo
Thanks Grey!
I have a bit of roster/IL log jam so trying to figure out who to drop if I can’t pull off some trades. $1000 H2H Daily Points Keeper League (+20/year)
Mostly depth/future pieces who play once a week or so….
Semien $60
Tork $40
Rutschman $40
Vaughn $20
O Cruz $20
Bohm $20
Marsh $20
Laureano $20
If you had to drop 3 who would it be and in what order? Thanks!
Ramon, Marsh, Vaughn
Hi Grey,
Should I sit or start Dane Dunning of Texas at home against Boston?
Thanks!
Sure
I am sorry that I did not make the question clearer.
Would you start Dunning against the Sox at Texas?
Thanks!
Yes
Thank you!
No problem
Grey, is it worth holding Kyle Wright in 12 team league. Hes been getting knocked around last couple outings.Hold or stream out his spot?
Hold
Do you think there’s good chance that Javier remains in the rotation? Or more of an occasion sixth starter role
Occasional sixth
grey , would you trade witt or suzuki for rowdy? is Rowdy for real or just on a brief hot streak?
Seiya for him sounds fair but I wouldn’t
thanks!
No problem
Moncada or Muncy at 3B
Moncada
Streamanotor not a fan of valdez today. The Nats just tuned up megill but were shut down by the Mets bullpen. Brickhouse silenced them too. Is Valdez a full go for you in all formats?
I’d start him
points league, looking for 5+ IPs, K’s and the W
T. Rogers (+12.8 on SON vs Ashby -7.8), or Kopech (+7.0 vs Montgomery -0.6)?
Kopech
Better streamer?
Dunning home vs Redsox or
EdRod home vs Balt
EdRod
Fri-YAYBABAY
Which side Grey:
Buxton, JP Crawford, Cortes and Wheeler or Shane-o Mac, Webb, and Wander Franco.
Watched Wheeler’s start last night, he looked better but the velocity still isn’t quite there and he has to deal with Bohm, Schwarber, and Castellanos defensive lapses all year. Think he’ll return draft value ?
Have a great weekend !
Haha, yes! No, I don’t but he can return near draft value…maybe a top 40 starter year
so in saying that, do you prefer the side with McClanahan then ? Or is it pretty even
I’d take Shane
Great, thanks ! Figured I should cash in a bit with my Buxton chips. Webb still have great stuff+ as well
No problem
I’m going to drop sims for one of these players. Which one do you like?
Brandon belt
Yandy diaz
Gurriel
Wisdom
Vogelbach
Jose Miranda
Moustakas
Dozier
Donaldson
H Kim
Villar
Casas
Miranda
Thank you very much. Always extremely appreciated
No problem
Gleyber or Segura ROS, thanks
Gleyber
With 73 batted ball events now, Jazz has reduced his K rate to 23% so far, has an xBA of .301, big reduction in GB rate and big increase in Barrels and LA. Are you buying into a batting average of at least .270+ for the season?
Yeah, for sure…Jazz looks like he took a step forward…All April concerns are in rearview
Need a 2-1….My Vaughn and Adolis for Edman ok?
Edman
Grey,

Its bad enough im sitting Witt down. So who gets benched
Lewis
do you think i should send Lewis back down until he hits my league threshold that he has to be permanently up?
Yes
ok done. thanks for all your help. I am still trying to acquire LeMahieu
Cool
do u think Darvish and a prospect like Soderstrom would get it done?
Maybe not sure
he said he is not interested in Darvish. He wants Gore ($5) in any deal regarding DJ ($29)
Meh
i told him I cant move Gore.
Do u think Alcantara and Soderstrom would get me DJ
Too much
or just Alcantara?
Too much
Grey,
I just lost kershaw to the IL and need a replacement. I am looking at Zach Logue from OAK. Should I pick him up?
Sure
k. thanks.
No problem
Geez, is Melendez going to sit vs. all lefties?? Go with him or Ruiz? Thx.
Keibert
OPS Weekly League: Rank Bohm, Yepez, Rowdy
Tellez, Yepez
Can Trivino be dropped? Is it official?
Not official, but he can be dropped
Who do you like for a better chance at a win this weekend: Sonny Gray vs. CLE tonight or Lorenzen @ OAK tomorrow? I was leaning Gray, but he has yet to make it through 5 innings (but looked good through 4 last time) and Lorenzen gets the OAK offense (but looked rough last time). Thank you!
Lorenzen
h/h points 12 team redraft….need two from this group & I got to get it right once in a while at $5 per transaction fee…..
Tellez
Pham
Profar
C Walker
Naylor
Gurriel jr

Naguin
G Torres
Grichuk
Verdugo
Tellez, Pham
Tellez, Naylor
New Kendrick is dope!
Hell yeah!
Andrew Vaughn with two dingy dongy’s in a rehab assignment yesterday. Bring him back! I could’ve used that!
God speed and good weekend to all!
Haha, you too!
Question 1: I may have asked about this before but I’m not clear. Does the trade analyzer apply values based on the player rater? And is the player rater updated weekly? I’m not always sure what to think……for example, Stroman has a current negative value but over the rest of the season I feel he’s still worth something. He’s impossible to put into a trade right now because his true value maybe isn’t shown on the trade analyzer.
Question 2: Recently I dropped Cristian Javier because Tyler Stephenson was coming off the IL. I chose to hold onto guys like Cobb and Cortes over Javier because they’re both locked into starter rolls. Is that the right move? Cobb and Cortes over Javier?
Trade analyzer applies values from ROS player rater 2. Sounds fine
Hilarious stuff today Grey! Enjoy your weekend
Thanks! You too!
OPS Weekly H2H:
A: Trout, Abreu, Bohm, Clay Holmes
B: Robert, Bell, Tyler O’Neill, Kopech
**Trout and Robert both rosterable thru 2023

Kelenic has now been dropped in my league twice in a week. I have a spot for him, if I want to drop Gimenez, who I keep around in case Adames gets hurt, while I’m waiting for Tatis to get back. Any opinion on that?
Sounds fine
Hey Grey!
On the fence for these starts tonight as I’m still trying to repair my early season pitching ratio disasters. Berrios and Floro killed the little progress I started to make this week.
1. Start S. Gray vs. Cleveland?
2. Start Rasmussen vs. Toronto?
Bonus Question: How soon before Berrios becomes *sigh* droppable? Rest of my starters are… Eovaldi, S. Gray, Sandoval, Gonsolin, Rasmussen, Stroman (IL), Wainwright (IL). (My RPs are… Bednar, Floro, Strider, Holmes)
Thanks, man! Have a good weekend!
1) Yes 2) Sure, kinda depend son number of teams…Same with Berrios, seems like it could happen
Best choice for today. Valdez vs Washington/S.Gray vs Cleveland/Mahle vs Pittsburgh
Framber
1) Robertson coming off IL (imminent, I assume) and Duran remains in a committee w Pagan (ugh). Who do I keep?
2) Who should I keep — Tellez (1B) or Pham(OF)? (Very tiny) advantage to Pham due to defensive position.
update to 2) Vaughn also available as FA (soon to return from IL). So choice is Vaugh, Tellez, or Pham?
Thank you.
Duran 2) Tellez
Someone dropped Kelenic in my league.
Should I drop anyone of the following for him?
Candelario
Adolis Garcia
Harrison Bader
Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
Josh Naylor
Andrew Vaughn
My team is the definition of under performing this year with Semien and Story rotting away (I am benching Semien now for Swanson) and also watching Tyler O’Neil struggle too.
I am just waiting for you to put Tyler O’Neil as your SELL column person this week to make my team 3 for 3 these last weeks.
Nah, not yet
Poor Michael Fulmer Owners
HAHA
Fun fact! Angels lead the league in Homeruns but also 2nd in Strikeouts.
Would’ve expected that in March
I did not start Logan Webb the last two outings and I am not starting him tonight. He is been on my bench hoping for resurgence. Not much talk about him and I am thinking I overrated him. Is he a hold, buy, or sell for a 10 team roto right now? Thank you for the help on Tellez last night. I was able to get him.
Buy in most leagues, but in a 10 teamer, you can stream
Theory: Baseball players aren’t trying to mess with us. What we’re seeing is “oh yeah? Well then we’ll play real crappy for all of April and May!” which is them talking to the owners during the final offseason negotiations.
Ha, nice username too!
The Angels are starting a Double-A pitcher today. WTF?
THe DisgrA’s are so horrible, I’m halfway tempted to start him.
Haha
Happy Friday, Grey!
Would you start Manaea @ATL tomorrow? If I bench him, I’d only have 7 out of 8 starts this week – just don’t want to get bombed!
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Yes
good call on stephenson, people are starting to ask me to trade him no one but razzball know much about him. Carmargo is a good ball player surprised atlanta didn’t hang on to him.
abreu, suzuki, whitt, reyes and toescar are killing should i be looking to dump any these guys or do you think they will come around
. Stephenson
J. Abreu T. Edman J. India(I) R. Devers B. Bichette
B. Witt(R) F. Reyes K. Schwarber Y. Alvarez T. Hernandez(R)
S. Suzuki(R) L. Robert E. Jimenez(I)
S. Manaea D. Cease F. Peralta S. McClanahan T. Megill M. Clevinger(R)
L. Castillo(R) R. Iglesias E. Clase
I think Whit and Abreu could be trouble all year
thx….hoping they go on a streak so i can trade them
I hear ya
Is it time to sell Whit?
Yes
Camargo had 1 really stand out season in ATL, and was kind of meh for the rest of his time. Just couldn’t find any regular consistency with his ABs. Glad to see him doing well in PHL
Yeah, true
Nice work! I received some trade offers this morning. In this shallow league, it was my Bo and Urias for Judge or my Bo and Alcantara for his Devers. Good, bad or indifferent? I really don’t wanna move Bo, but always enjoy your perspective. Max Muncy was recently dropped in this league too, would you recommend scooping him up and hope he turns it around? Batting 4 in LA is mighty nice despite the early season struggles. Happy Friday!
Meh, hold — Muncy is injured and has been bad
Appreciate it as always!
No problem
Grey, do you like Montero or Pagan for spec saves?
Pagan
Jt Brubaker had some nice games last year before the all star break and fell apart. This year he fell apart early and was great the past 4 stats. Any sign he’s going to have a breakout year…. Say sub .3.50 era and 180ks?
I don’t see it, Pirates can’t develop anything
It appears that the CJ Abrams revenge tour in El Paso is afoot. Going to be fun to watch
Ha, yup!
Please rank Wright, Lauer, Manaea, Bassitt
Manaea, Lauer, Bassitt
3B is my black hole.
1. For this weekend only please pick one out of:
* Moran v Pirates (Keller, Thompson, Quintana)
* Moose same as above
* B Miller v RSox (Pivetta, Houck, Whitlock)
Kinda leaning Miller with three RHP
2. Longer term who would you roster out of : Yandy, Eugenio, Moose, or any up and comer unlikely to be owned in a 12 teamer?
3. Is Drury worth owning over the gents listed? He could be a minor piece in a larger trade.
Thank you
Miller
2) Eugenio 3) Nah
