The All-Star break has passed, I, Geoff have returned from vacation, and Grey is ready to talk trade deadline buzz. With that in mind we talk about some of the top names that could be moved, Joey Gallo, Trevor Story, Craig Kimbrel to name a few. We speculate on the potential for a fire sale in Chicago, and walk you through our thoughts on some recent callups and how their playing time will shake out. This may in fact be a useful podcast for once! Oh don’t worry I waste Grey and everyone else’s time talking about my home league for a good 15 minutes without taking a breath. Never mind the bollocks, it’s the latest episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast.

It’s about that time where we take a look back at the first three months of the baseball season and take some inventory. On this week’s episode Grey and myself dig into the best surprises of 2021 and its biggest disappointments. We celebrate Vlad Jr., Shohei Ohtani, Jesse Winker, Kevin Gausman’s remarkable splitter and a host of others. To Ying this Yang we talk about the disappointing players too! However, we do it while listening to the Whisper Song. We shed tears for Lucas Giolito, Mookie Betts, Juan Soto, and Cody Bellinger. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it. Join us on another episode of the Razzball Podcast!

Is Grey my Winnie Cooper? Perhaps. The truth is how many of you even understand that reference? Probably not too many. As you can likely take away from the title of the podcast we talk about Wander Franco’s promotion to begin the show. We then follow that with more prospect talk as we discuss Matt Manning, Jesus Sanchez, and others. We briefly discuss potential trade deadline movers like Trevor Story before finishing the show with a handful of waiver wire adds to make in your leagues. It’s another glorious episode of the Razzball podcast.

Another week and so much to talk about, starting with our greatest 2021 re-draft regrets at the halfway point. There’s many, and we air them out, because we are nothing if not an open book. We then dive into the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. coming of age story. Is Matt Olson a sell or hold? Carlos Rodon, is this for real? We then dive into a ton of “low-energy” waiver wire adds. It’s another week of the Razzball podcast!

We don’t invite guests onto the podcast often, but when we do we do it big. Did I just quote Black and Yellow? I don’t know if Laura is a fan of a sport franchise with black and yellow colors but I hope for her sake it’s not the Pirates. Our Deep Leagues writer Laura Holt joins us this week and the collective IQ of the show was raised by at least 70%. We talk sticky stuff and it’s impact on fantasy, pitcher injuries, wavier wire adds, and a host of other topics to keep you mildly entertained. There’s a 50/50 chance Laura takes my job after this one. She was great. Listen or else!

Did you know that Grey Albright is collector of art? He’s a man of sophisticated tastes and by art and sophisticated tastes I mean Alek Manoah and Chase De Jong shares on his fantasy baseball teams. What one person calls waiver wire adds, are another’s art collection. Other exciting items Mr. Albright has procured in recent weeks; an original Eric Hasse, a Seth Brown, a DJ Stewart, and even something called a Paul Fry! Move over Isabella Gardner, there’s a new collector in town. And by town I mean 3,000 miles west. Any the who… the Razzball podcast is back with loads of tidbits, advice, confirmation bias, and dad jokes.

When even our handsome mustachioed leader is tossing no-no’s you know that something is terribly wrong in Major League Baseball. The remarkable part is he did it throwing underhand eephus pitches to the Mariners. The lineup is that bad, what can ya say? They swing and they miss. All joking aside, we run through the growing no-no trend and a whole bunch of names you need to keep an eye on for the weeks ahead. Schmotatoes, Call-ups, and players returning from injury we have it all. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Podcast.

One Grey Albright is many things, a fantasy master (lothario), a collector of Reggie Jackson memorabilia, a dog lover, and a man that struggles with names. He still hasn’t figured out the LL in the Spanish alphabet. This week he is met with his greatest challenge yet, saying Johneshwy without butchering it. That said, I’m not sure I did any better! Outside of our general lack of feel for other cultures we talk about some underperformers you should target, why punching walls is dumb, and a bunch of our typical nonsense. It’s Razzball in it’s purest form.

We’re back with a handsome helping of callup talk, and this was recorded before the news of Jarred Kelenic dropped. We run through a handful of interesting names making noise the first week of the minor league season before we complain about Cody Bellinger and ask if Juan Soto can throw… It’s a good question. We then ask the age old question “Is Tyler Anderson good now?”. Feels like we hit that point every season, but this time it’s different!! It’s another episode of the Razzball Podcast.

Does Grey have special powers? Can he see the future? Is he in your driveway with Christopher Walken and Todd Bridges? I can’t tell you but I bet Grey can! The man told you that Keston Hiura would be demoted and guess what? It happened. All praise FML! For you are all knowing. Don’t worry this is not a 45 minutes victory lap. It’s a 25 minute victory lap with some random fantasy baseball gems mixed in. Get on the good foot and hop on over to the latest episode of the Razzball podcast.

The show is back for another episode and only a few hours after lineup lock in your weekly leagues! We’re such a tease right? Well, give us a break, I have no excuse but Grey, Fantasy Master Lothario, is cultivating a grapefruit on his chest and we all must be understanding of his situation. Out of respect for his growth we pushed the show to Monday and chatted about our big picture takeaways from the first month of the 2021 campaign. Did we say anything of importance? Perhaps, but I ain’t gon’ tell’ya if we did. I want you to listen to the damn show! So listen to the damn show, kapeesh?
