This week’s Fantasy Roundtable is being hosted over at RotoJunkie.
THE TOPIC: Buyer’s Remorse. What are three players you regret buying or drafting this March?
Not sure why I gave Kevin Kouzmanoff a free pass – guess I couldn’t come up with anything too interesting to say on him….

Brian Bannister. He counts as all three regrets for me.
I drafted Rich Hill, Brad Hawpe, Gary Sheffield, Manny Corpas, and Ian Snell. All are now off my team.
Rudy, If someone took your advice about drafting SP in first two rounds….They’d be pretty disappointed/infuriated if they ended up with Peavy and Santana
@Chase: wow, that’s an ugly casualty list so far. i still like hawpe and snell but i hear ya….as for santana/peavy, it’s early yet but i can’t say i’m feeling too great about that one. and i put my money where my mouth is – three leagues, santana in 2, peavy in 1. never both. i actually tried convincing a guy that was idiotic on the comments in http://razzball.com/groaning-at-bad-punditry-%e2%80%93-drafting-starting-pitchers-in-the-first-3-rounds/
a couple of points in my defense:
1) can’t judge just yet. look at all the disappointing 1st/2nd round picks so far…a-rod, reyes, rollins, mig-cabrera, howard, fielder, ortiz, etc. santana isn’t a fast starter (but he worries me b/c it looks like his stuff isn’t as nasty) and we’ll have to see when/if Peavy returns.
2) i did say first three rounds and claimed brandon webb was the clear #3. if only i picked him on one of my teams…
Rich Hill killed me in just about every league as my second pitcher off the board and he’s in my burn book.
@Grey: How about that Carlos Ruiz man crush you had? Did you even draft him on any teams?
@Rudy Gamble: I’ve gone from Ruiz to Navarro and now I’m on Olivo and Napoli. In my future, I see Iannetta, Torrealba and Ruiz again to keep the circle of crap alive. Basically, I’m streaming catchers and next year I’m taking McCann with my 2nd pick.
@Grey: ha…i’ve been telling you napoli since early in the season. all he does is hit home runs. he’s like the italian-american josh gibson.
