Our pal Mike P over at Fantasy Baseball Generals just posted a mid-week update on his Fantasy Razzball team. Pretty frigin’ hilarious.
He had a promising slate of awful pitchers going for him yesterday – Bannister vs. Tigers, Redding vs. Phillies, Wellemeyer vs. Rockies.
Somehow this trio helped to produce an end of day pitching line of 1.13 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in 24 innings.
I can’t help but picture Patrick and Mike of the Fantasy Baseball Generals as the two guys in this scene watching from the balcony…
That’s all right, my Razzball’s team ERA and WHIP is beating my ten team’s ERA and WHIP.
Thanks, I think. Don’t forget Mike drafted the team so if we lose it is his fault. If we win, you can credit my supervision in recovering from his awful draft…..I told him to draft Buehrle over Redding, but did he listen???

I hear ya Steve. My Fantasy Baseball Writers Team when 4 for 40 with 2 runs, 0 HR, 0 RBI….my Razzball team went 7 for 32 with 4 R, 1 HR, 3 RBI.
I’d feel a lot better about my genius Razzball picks if they did better than my genius FLB picks…
