I had an hour-long conversation last week with Aaron Murray over at RotoSavants on their “Fish Sticks on Wednesday” show. Listen and you’ll see why I stick with blogging….
Part 1: Discussion on ‘expert’ vs. competitive leagues.
Part 2: Discuss the Blog Wars draft

He’s in a seriously deep league if he’s hoping Dickerson’s gonna turn into a good thing for him. Rough getting through the disfluencies, but I like the show.
I was as shocked as Murray to hear that autodraft was the only option back in the day. Puke.
I wanted your voice to be more high pitched.
The opening theme music gave me the strange urge to seek out the nearest livestock.
You don’t sound like a Rudy Gamble but rather more like a Brad Worthington III.
The sweet spot of Dork and Nerd. Nice!
Awesome stuff. Thanks for doing it.
@nmdunkel: It did make you want to puke when you drafted 4 shortstops.
@Critter Nagurski: Ha. I thought they were going to run it through autotune to reduce the pitchiness.
@TheEvilEmpire: i’ve got to work on my baritone.
I can assure you that Rudy sounded like Barry White during recording. In post-production I made us both sound like my favorite radio man, Joe Castiglione.
I was expecting a lower baritone voice from you Rudy too. Not sure why, just was expecting more Pat Summerall type voice – like a wise old sage. Either way, the podcast was great.
