Shake up alert, shake up alert, shake up alert! We have a new number one sitting on top of the Master Standings! It’s been the Son show since week three, so this is some big news. After one week without Master Standings, we’re back and things are all shaken up. Maybe Son’s moves are catching up with him as he slows down a bit to preserve a few for the final month of the season. Son still leads all RCLers with 311 moves and he has three of the top four move-making teams. League Competitive Index came into play also, as the new top team has a slightly higher LCI in their league compared to the ‘Perts League. Typically the number of moves a league makes has a good correlation to a high LCI. This makes sense, right? A league making the most moves would be a league full of attentive managers, racking up counting stats, and thus have a high LCI. There are currently 12 leagues with over 1,000 moves made and surprisingly, the top league is not one that Son is in. We’ll take a look at the top ten move-makers, the most active leagues, and take a look at the new top ten, all that in more in the week that was week 12 in the Razzball Commenter Leagues.
First off, a quick look at the top ten move-makers in the RCLs:
TEAM | LEAGUE | RCL PTS | MOVES |
---|---|---|---|
Son | Writers League | 102 | 311 |
Team Rmuzz55 | RCL 2021 (#4) | 83.3 | 298 |
Son | RCL 2021 (#26) | 83.6 | 286 |
Son | PERTS LEAGUE | 105.4 | 269 |
Team HoosierBoss | RCL 2021 (#6) | 53.4 | 268 |
NCPhilly Fanatics | RCL 2021 (#26) | 93.1 | 266 |
Nothing Going | RCL 2021 (#21) | 87.5 | 264 |
Vegans | DFSers Anonymous | 86.9 | 264 |
J&G | RCL 2021 (#25) | 58.2 | 261 |
Pachoka Pitx | RCL 2021 (#19) | 90.6 | 259 |
As I mentioned, Son is clobbering the move market. Team Rmuzz55 is giving him a run for his money though. J&G is always an active RCLer and Pachoka has been incredibly active in the trading market. They appear to just be changing over their team weekly either through trade or the waiver wire. I included the RCL PTS here too, so you can see, the number of moves helps, but is in no way a guarantee. Son has not just been making moves for movement’s sake, he’s been making the right moves.
Now, for the leagues:
LEAGUE | MOVES |
---|---|
Cougs R Us | 1737 |
ECFBL | 1455 |
RCL 2021 (#25) | 1397 |
PERTS LEAGUE | 1372 |
Original Recipe | 1364 |
Night of the Living Zombinos | 1315 |
RCL 2021 (#35) | 1250 |
DFSers Anonymous | 1170 |
RCL 2021 (#27) | 1150 |
RCL 2021 (#26) | 1104 |
RCL 2021 (#9) | 1027 |
RCL 2021 (#36) | 1017 |
COUGS R US is running away with the moves crown and that’s no surprise. COUGS is a make-shift Champions League. The managers in this league are made up of the top ten finishers between 2019 and 2020. This is the cream of the crop and we’re all making add-drops constantly. ECFBL is always one of the top RCLs in the land and their moves go to show they are all very engaged. I’m impressed to see a standard league in the top three. Typically the top five are all legacy leagues, but a bunch of regulars hopped into RCL 25, which is at least a money league, and made it into a darn tough league. “Perts checks-in in fourth place followed by a run of legacy leagues and money RCLs. Nice work everyone, keep those rosters churning!
Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land. We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them. The heading is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow along as we go.
There was not one single change in the ‘Perts League standings this week, not one. Son continued his reign atop the league and we’re all just playing for second…or third given Coolwhip’s score. I did manage to make the biggest point gain this week with 4.5 points thanks to leading the league in HRs (20), RBIs (56), and saves (6). B_Don was right behind me with 4 points gained as he led the league in IP (71.2), Wins (6), ERA (2.64), and WHIP (1.033). Donkey Teeth was the week’s biggest loser, dropping 7.5 points despite co-leading the league in steals (8) with Son.
Each week we’ll also take a look at the top ten overall standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, the RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from all across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers just like you.
Nicholas Mariano and Yatta held onto the top two spots for another week in the RazzSlam, however, Brian Seymour took a tumble from third to sixth allowing Joseph Asher, Ryan Owen, and Sammy Reid to pass him. JKJ snuck past Zachary Meyer into seventh place and we finally have three Razzballers in the top ten as Donkey Teeth took ninth and Coolwhip landed in tenth. Nice work by the Razzball writers owning our home league!
This week’s top gainer was Todd Speros who gained 704 points and moved up 34 spots in the standings. Nice work Todd!

10 | Torres | RCL 2021 (#7) | 99.3 | 101 | 100 | 97.8 |
VottomanEmpire is riding a 105 LCI and 105.5 league points to the top of the standings this week! Nice work Vottoman! It’s nice to see a little changeover at the top of the standings for once. Vottoman was in 13th two weeks ago and has made a heck of a run to the top.
Grimey has managed to secure the highest league score in the RCLs this week with 108. If that LCI were a little higher, he’d be the top of the heap. Come on RCL 36, help a Grimey out! As it stands, Grimey gained four places in two weeks to land in second.
Team mpaltrow falls one spot from week 10, down to third, and Orlando Calrissians moved up three places to fourth.
Our former overall leader has slipped to fifth this week, followed by Laura who dropped one place, and Son’s Writer’s League team which gained three spots to land in seventh.
Team cubbiebluez falls from third to eighth and Coolwhip from fourth to ninth as each team dropped five spots.
Rounding us out this week is Torres, who moved up from 17th in week 10 to claim top ten glory here in week 12.

Jake McGee and Cedric Mullins each moved twice this week. McGee finds himself smack in the middle of a committee for saves, but is getting saves nonetheless. I moved Dansby Swanson for him in a league where I somehow drafted Story, Lindor, and Dansby Swanson. Swanson clogging my UTIL spot wasn’t really working for me and I am middle of the pack in saves right now, so we’ll see how that works out. I also moved Story for Yu Darvish in a league where I have a shiny, new Wander Franco in my SS spot (and also have Dansby Swanson) and was very desperate for innings.
I love FFB’s move of Snell for Walsh. I’d make that move everywhere I could too!
WEEKLY LEADERS
The best of the best from the week that was.
R – 119 – Stl Squat Cobblers (RCL 2021 (#27))
HR –47 – VottomanEmpire (DFSers Anonymous)
RBIs – 118 – Team JNewcott (RCL 2021 (#15))
SB – 26 – STL Cardinals (RCL 2021 (#37))
AVG – .322 – Lake City Dawgs (RCL 2021 (#12))
K – 183 – Team kbroderius (RCL 2021 (#32))
W – 14 – Cram It (PERTS LEAGUE)
SV – 17 – Team ChangeOfPace (RCL 2021 (#4))
ERA (Min. 40 IP) – 1.43 – Team Octitre42 (RCL 2021 (#30)) (in 107 IP)
WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.727 – Brookline Bees (RCL 2021 (#3)) (in 91 IP)
Again, these are two week’s worth of stats here, but still, these are some bonkers numbers. It’s interesting that we barely beat the single-week record of 11 wins in the double week though. Wins are so dumb. Still, congrats to Cram It for getting on the board. VottomanEmpire put another team in the round-up this week with his DFSers team leading the land in dingers. It was a good two weeks for Vottoman.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it the previous week.
Team: Team WilliamDyer
League: RCL 2021 (#10)
Stats: AVG: .322, R: 93, HR: 38, RBI: 104, SB: 5
IP: 138, ERA: 1.96, WHIP: 1.022, K: 136, W: 12, SV: 4
Summary: The team of the two-week span just doesn’t have a nice ring to it, but that’s indeed what Team WilliamDyer managed to pull off. Just look at those numbers. I’m especially in awe of that ERA/WHIP combo in 138 IP. It does look like Dyer could use some more SAGNOF, but that’s really getting picky in what is otherwise an incredible two-week run. Team WilliamDyer climbed from 165th to 74th in the overall standings while gaining nine league points and moving from third to first in RCL #10. Joey Gallo and Ryan Mountcastle got hot while Ohtani did Ohtani things on both sides of the ball for Dyer. Zack Wheeler and German Marquez were also studs on the pitching front. We’ll see if Team WilliamDyer can keep it up and push their way into the top ten in the coming weeks.
