Weekly Razzball news delivered straight to your inbox.
As we wake up on April 20th, we have to remember that most MLB players have completed about 18 or 19 games of their season. That amounts to about 11% of their entire fantasy year. I, for one, would not want my boss judging my performance for the year on February 7th or whatever. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Anyway, here's what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:Max Scherzer was ejected between innings after a heated conversation with the umpiring crew. IN his place, the Mets brought in bizarro Max Scherzer, Schax Merzer. pic.twitter.com/Lwy0oRJEzl

We’re beyond the traditional super two date, which did not occur to me until I was pondering Oakland’s decision to call up RHP Mason Miller. I’m glad they did it, of course; it’s fun for everyone, and I could really use him in the two dynasty leagues where I’m lucky enough to employ him. Please, blog, may I have some more?
I try to not be reactionary. I know it’s a marathon, not a sprint. I also know that I will not be running a marathon or a sprint any time soon. Why on earth would you run a marathon? That’s like over 20 miles. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Here we are on a Wednesday. We had a close double-up win last week and are now 1-1 on the season with our Razzball DFS articles in building winning lineups. I am writing the short schedule Wednesday evening article today so looking to find the guys that are going to be zeroes that turn into heroes from the bottom of the lineups in a couple of these games. What’s poppin, Razzpimples? Bullpen update time!
Don’t forget, the Razzball Bullpen Chart is manned by yours truly and updated like every single second (not really, but I stay on top of thangs for the most part). And directly below are your Top 10 most valuable RP over the last week, courtesy of our super cool and filterable Last 7 Days pitching stats page you should be using all the time, as well as a current look at the Top 15 RP (in both 5×5 standard leagues and 6×6 saves/holds leagues) via our Player Rater. Ahoy, me Razzball mateys! All aboard the S.S. MarmosDad for a fine afternoon sail through the shimmering waters of Major League Baseball!
I suppose we should pause for a bit of an ‘in memoriam’ of sorts. If anything, the Roger was anything but Jolly in Pittsburgh after Oneil Cruz’s run-in with Seby Zavala last week. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Tuesdays and Fridays are my favorite DFS days. I dig the full slate days, with SO many options to choose from I prefer the variety of lineups vs a short schedule day where everyone plays the best plays and if you don’t have the ONE guy who goes off, you’ve lost everything. This week on CSI, Grey and B_Don are looking into the homicide of several fantasy teams. Hmm… Detective Grey, I think we may be looking at a case of foul play. I’m not ruling out the use of voodoo magic.
They guys are going over the exciting early season call-ups of the week. Please, blog, may I have some more?
