Two weeks ago, I wrote about how we’re kind of over fantasy baseball for the year. Now, with football starting, a month left in the baseball regular season, many fantasy league formats entering their final weeks already, we’re really over it. Nevertheless, there is more to bring to you, readers here at Mr. Magorium’s Stat […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?I don’t have enough spam, give me the Razzball email newsletter!
Weekly Razzball news delivered straight to your inbox.
Saw someone recently make the case that Kyle Schwarber (4-for-6, 9 RBIs, 46th, 47th, 48th and 49th homers) would be a terrible Hall of Famer. Not like he’d enter the Hall and pee on the memorabilia, but as in he does not belong. Well, I say, I want a Hall where he does belong! Assuming […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Today, I’ll take a look at another tendency of drafters: a willingness to overpay for a big year, or, even worse, for a player in a bounceback year. To that end, I’ll discuss 4 players who have either outplayed their last season draft prices by significant margins or, at the very least, demonstrated a skill (or two) that drafters are often willing to pay up for.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Major League Baseball has now played about 21 of 26 weeks this season, which means we have a large statistical basis, but not quite a whole season, to evaluate players for our fantasy baseball squads. With the trade deadline past and teams looking to call up prospects to see what they have next year, or […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?I made char sui pork recently. Was very good, easy too! Slather a bunch of stuff on the pork belly, roast it for five hours and slob-down on the oink. Nah’mean? That feeling I had when I was slob-downing on the oink that was what it was like having so many of these Jays/Twins hitters! […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Rays LHP Ian Seymour made his first career start Monday after spending about six weeks in the bullpen. He allowed just two baserunners through five shutout innings, bringing his season-long ERA down to 3.18 with a 1.02 WHIP. At 26 years old with good command of a change-up first arsenal, he’s got a great shot to lock down a rotation spot for the stretch run, and because he’s under a rookie contract, he could look ideal to this front office as a cheap rotation piece for 2026 and beyond. He also gives this team multiple Seymours. Good vision incoming.
Please, blog, may I have some more?We kinda had an accidental theme here! All the cool kids are looking toward the future and stuff, like here and here. This is my meager contribution! Getting near the end, and I realized I think I only have two weeks left after this! I’m looking to do my next year’s ranks in one of those. […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Have you seen Jonah Tong? He looks like Tim Lincecum had sex with Tim Lincecum, and their baby would be Jonah Tong. Call Jonah Tong: Inceptioncum. ACKSUALLY, if k.d. lang had sex with k.d. lang, then Lincecum and Linceum’s baby and lang and lang’s baby stepped into The Fly teleporter at the same time and, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Another pretty quiet week in the Razzball Commenter Leagues as most leagues have settled into a flow. It’s not too late to make moves, though. We had two more teams reach the 1400 IP pinnacle this week. This is your yearly reminder that all the pitching stats you accrue on the day you go over […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Howdy Y’all. Back from a couple week hiatus with your weekly SAGNOF picks and plays. I took the fam to the Black Hills for a few days, then myself to Las Vegas to enter the NFL contests over at Circa and do some Podcasts for my other sports gig covering MLB, Horse Racing, and NFL […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The 2026 Draft season has officially started! The Too-Early Meatball Draft went off on August 20th and, well, here is the draft board. As to my expected risers, there was maybe some slight disappointment. Pete Crow-Arnstrong did not quite make it into the first round, though he just barely missed at Pick 18. James Wood […]
