Um, uh-oh.
Luis Ortiz out there naming names and unfortunately for Emmanuel Clase you can’t spell names without Emmanuel Clase. So, did Clase look like garbage in April because Draft Kings had a Promo Code, ClaseGarbage? Please, blog, may I have some more?
Happy Monday, Razzball faithful!
Wow! It’s been a full week since I wrote something up and, to be honest, it feels like I’ve been gone for a month.
I hope you’ve all been doing well as we head into the dog days of summer and have managed to find some time to chill out (literally and figuratively). Please, blog, may I have some more?
Can you believe it’ll be August this week? How time flies…especially during the Summer. It seems like the All-Star Game was just a week ago!
The next big day on the calendar for most of us fantasy ballers is our league’s trade deadline. Please, blog, may I have some more?
This is an odd time of year. Every baseball team is evaluating a balance of its immediate and extended future. With two months of the 2025 regular season left, plenty could change, but teams are forced to act decisively with the upcoming trade deadline. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Yesterday, Warming Bernabel went 1-for-3 and his 1st career homer, as he was called up by the Rockies. Warming called up and an immediate impact? Libs gonna wanna say it’s Climate Change Bernabel. How could Warming Bernabel be anything but hot at the plate? Please, blog, may I have some more?
We are back! Sorry about the shop being closed up for a week there, but it was an unfortunate necessity. We should be open for business the rest of the way to try and help you attain fantasy fame, glory, and riches. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Welcome to another round of the Top 100 Hitters for the rest of the 2025 fantasy baseball season. It’s been nearly a month since the last update, and with that time comes plenty of movement. In the gap between rankings, we were treated to one of the most entertaining All-Star breaks in years and are now staring down a trade deadline that’s sure to shake things up (looking at you, Eugenio). Please, blog, may I have some more?
My first article back from the break did a great job with the pitchers, but a disappointing performance from the hitters. That’s naturally the more likely outcome when examining streamers because it’s much easier to predict the arms than the bats. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Off the top, I want to point out how this draft and the one before it are great examples of why you should NOT tank in dynasty leagues. Last year’s class was so stacked, you could’ve landed Cam Smith with a pick at the end of round one, as happened in one of my leagues. This year, there’s not much of a difference between the top fifteen or so, and there’s no fast-moving monster among the college bats.
1. Mariners LHP Kade Anderson
2. Rockies SS Ethan Holliday
3. Marlins SS Avia Arquette
4. Reds SS Steele Hall
In a class without an obvious bat at the top, Kade Anderson in Seattle represents the best combination of proximity and upside. Easily the top pick in a league where quality pitching is at all hard to find. The shallower the league, the more I’d lean Holliday here.
With the rapidly adjusting rosters IRL and fantasy-wise due to trade deadlines, here’s to hoping this piece ages better than a gallon of milk left out next to the Jack Buck statue outside Busch Stadium yesterday…
In the time of drafting this piece, both Ryan McMahon and Gregory Soto were moved, and things are only going to accelerate until the 31st. Please, blog, may I have some more?
I enjoy the internet’s daddy Pedro Pascal as much as anyone but there was an even more Fantastic Four happening Friday night and it was more cinematic than anything the MCU could dream up. The legend of Oakland Las Vegas Sacramento A’s first baseman Nick Kurtz continued as he hit a Fantastic Four home runs on the helpless Astros pitching staff en route to a historic night.
