Welcome in to a brand new edition of Butters does DFS. Let’s get after some pitching today, which leads us right into…. Logan Webb, SP: $7,600 – This is a juicy matchup for him. His last three starts have been quite good and the Rox on the road is usually good for pitchers as they have the worst team batting average outside of Coors. Combine that with Webb’s price and we’ve got a very compelling option.

Yu Darvish, SP: $9,200 – Last time out saw him dominate these same D Backs. Now we shouldn’t chase past performance but it is an indication that he’s coming out of his funk. The bot likes him today so take a shot.
Jose Berrios, SP: $8,500 – His last three starts have been excellent as have many of his starts this season. This matchup is no cakewalk, but I’m confident he can get the job done.
Ji-Man Choi, C/1B: $3,000 – With a righty on the mound he should be locked into the lineup. He was able to get back on the field yesterday after a hamstring scare on Tuesday. That’s a good sign and coupled with the bot’s recommendation, makes him a fine option.
Eric Haase, C/1B: $3,400 – Let’s get wild and roll out a catcher. He’s got an everyday spot and swings a big stick going into a hitter-friendly environment. That sounds like a recipe for success.
Jonathan Schoop, 2B: $3,400 – You can throw him in at first if you’re so inclined but I tend to think of him as a second baseman, so here he is. Anyhoo… he’s in the midst of an offensive resurgence and is primed to keep rolling today.
Adam Frazier, 2B: $2,800 – He just keeps hitting, to the tune of a .320 average and he leads the league in hits. He’s kept rolling since his trade and is set up for big things with the upgraded supporting cast. Lock him in as a more affordable option at the keystone.
Austin Riley, 3B: $3,400 – For the price, he’s a great option. He’s hot so jump right back in those flames.
Joey Wendle, 3B: $2,600 – The bot has him as a top 5 option today. You would be hard-pressed to pass up the potential he offers you at his price.
Trea Turner, SS: $3,700 – He’s a Dodger so I have to despise him now, but that slide is just too darn smooth. He’s uber-talented and with his new supporting cast he checks in as the top option at short. That makes him worth the price of admission.
J.P. Crawford, SS: $3,000 – There’s strong potential here for the price and perhaps he’s a guy that doesn’t make it onto too many rosters if you want to go against the grain.
Mark Canha, OF: $3,300 – Looks like he’s got his eye irritation in the rearview mirror. Since he’s back he’s in play as a strong choice for your outfield.
Tommy Pham, OF: $3,000 – The day off yesterday looks to be just routine. That should slot him right back into the batting order today where he shows off his power/speed combo.
Jarren Duran, OF: $2,500 – Let’s be bold with the young gun. His numbers are not pretty but the potential for a big game is there.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
Oh… so it will be humid today. That’s neat. Not sure about the rest of you but humidity really gets me. Give me that dry heat any day. Hopefully, professional athletes are better able to resist humidity than your favorite DFS writer.
Doing Lines In Vegas
You better believe we’ve got a 10 on the board, Cincy and Atlanta along with the Rays and Bo Sox should provide plenty of offense for all your fantasy needs. If it’s a pitcher’s duel you’re after, Vegas says to take a peep at the Nats and Mets.
