After a long winter full of anticipation, baseball is all the way back. With the minor leagues kicking off on Thursday night, the duo know as the awesome two, aka Halph has returned. Michael Halpern and I take you on a magical journey through the minor leagues. As we drop in on the opening night for a ton of the top prospects throughout the league. We talk Moncada, Fisher, Bader, Espinoza and Kaprielian injuries, and more. We discuss the importance of Andrew Benintendi’s core strength, and his underrated power by the elitist mainstream prospectors. Then jump into some of the top teams to watch in the minors this season. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Prospect Podcast.

Thanks for the Saturday morning prosp pods, always pairs well with Saturday morning light hangovers. In my home keeper league I ended up going gleyber over bellinger, hope I don’t regret it. Ha!

    Hi Ralph –

I’m loving your prospecting. Keep up the good work! I play in a salary cap league and am wondering about which prospects are best to roster factoring in that some will wind up owned for a year less (see below). Can you pick 5 from either section? And factor in that the sooner they play the better because we have to sign them to long term deals and ideally that would happen after seeing them play in the majors? Thanks!

Can be kept an extra year:

    Victor Robles
    Bradley Zimmer
    Jose Berrios
    Nick Senzel
    Brent Honeywell
    Amed Rosario
    Jose De Leon
    Rameil Tapia

Can be kept for one year less than guys above:

    Josh Hader
    Rafael Devers
