Tout Wars – one of the two most prestigious fantasy baseball expert leagues (along with LABR) – invited Razzball to participate in its inaugural 15-team mixed league online draft (they also have AL-only, NL-only, and 15-team mixed auctions).

The 2013 Tout Wars mixed draft format is very similar to our mixed-league LABR expert league except for one notable quirk – OBP instead of AVG.   Please, blog, may I have some more?

Registration slowed down a bit last week, but we still gained 29 teams. Several leagues had dropouts, but most have been refilled and we are left with just 3 leagues with a single opening. Check it out to see if there is a league to suit you. We also reached the magic 60-league mark, hitting our goal with almost 3 weeks to spare. I'm now setting up a waiting list for future leagues. Contact me if you are interested in getting in on the 700-team Razzball Commenter League action! Once we've collected enough names, a new RCL will be set up. Feel free to include preferred draft times, though I can't guarantee you will be accommodated, we will do our best.
Much like Christmas, the expert fantasy baseball draft season keeps creeping earlier and earlier from arguably the best day of the year.* So ten days post-groundhog, we had our first draft of the year in what happens to be our most well-esteemed expert league - the 15-team mixed league LABR draft (click link for full draft results) run by Steve Gardner of USAToday.com/USA Today Sports Weekly. * especially if you're Jewish and Christmas just means Chinese food + going to the movies with the atheists, eastern religioners, and Christian families that can't manage a whole day at home together as a family).
Today, we go over the top 40 outfielders for 2013 fantasy baseball. Yesterday, we went over the top 20 outfielders for 2013 fantasy baseball. It will be a date which will live in...Well, it won't live in infamy, so what's the opposite of that? Famy? It will live in unfamy? That's just ridiculous. What are you, the 7-Up guy? By the time you get to these outfielders, I'm sure you've drafted at least one outfielder. If you haven't, wake from your slumber, Rip Van Schmucko, your draft is slipping away from you. There's a lot of interesting names in this top 40. Alex Rios is one interesting name. It was even more interesting when it was Alexis Rios. All of the 2013 fantasy baseball rankings are there. If you right click that and open it in a new tab, your car will get a free smog check (it won't). Without further delay (there really wasn't much delay, I mean, that was a short intro compared to most)... Anyway, here's the top 40 outfielders for 2013 fantasy baseball:

Congratulations to the 2012 champions, RCL 40’s Rank Railheads. Co-managers Charley and JungleMike guided the Railheads to an incredible 119-point finish, missing out on perfection by a mere 3 stolen bases. While they had pretty much clinched their league title long ago, the overall title was up for grabs, and they continued to carefully make the moves necessary to stay ahead of the pack. Adam Eaton went 2-for-6 with a run yesterday as the Diamondbacks called up their outfield prospect, and hit him leadoff.  The move is to fill in for Krispie, who’s out with a sore quad.  Krispie could return (he won’t go to the DL because with 40-man rosters, there’s no need to), but Eaton’s not coming up to play in one game a week.   Please, blog, may I have some more?
