O Offense, where art thou?

Postby rhymenoceros » Mon Apr 27, 2009 10:35 pm

Here's my offense for my RCL team (Rhymenoceros)...

C Jesus Flores (Jesus I need help here)
1B Mark Texieria
2B Orlando Hudson
3B Josh Fields
SS Alexi Ramirez
2B/SS Miguel Tejada
1B/3B Garrett Atkins
OF Carl Crawford
OF Bobby Abreu
OF Ryan Ludwick
OF Carlos Lee
OF Nyjer Morgan (arguably my most consistent contributor)
UTIL A Conor Jackson/Kelly Johnson/ Jeremy Hermida merry-go-round

I just have to vent because I'm pissed. Thankfully my pitching has kept me in 3rd place, but for f's sake, who's leg do I have to hump to get some HR/RBI/R/AVG? I know about waiting on players to perform over a whole season. I know hitters will heat up with the weather. But I also see my anemic, lame-ass offense fall farther and farther behind. Damnit! Another night with no HR, >5 RBI, and a near Mendoza-line AVG. Suck...

It certainly appears that way now. Keep in mind I'm in a roto league. It seemed good at the time based on my projection system (taken from Tim Dierkes at Roto Authority). I believe they'll bounce back a little, but they suck right now and I believe that will continue.
