Greinke/Alexei Ramirez

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Greinke/Alexei Ramirez

Postby p0rk burn » Mon Jun 09, 2008 9:26 am

I just dropped Crosby to make room for Wells coming off the DL. Leaves me with Uggla and Kaz at second and Rollins at SS. I feel the need for another MI as my offensive bench is down to Murphy and Wells.

The wrinkle is the pitching stats in the league. Its a 10x10 H2H league including IP and holds. Most of the league has 2 or 3 offensive players on the bench with the other roster slots going to SP.

Greinke joined the team yesterday (fortunately not for the Yankees shelling) but I'm tempted to drop him for Alexei Ramirez (that name always makes me think of a Russian for some reason). A.Ram the Russkie has been heating up and seems like a good bench MI.

My pitching rotation:
Johan, Bills, Beckett, Cook, Shields, Parra, Greinke
(Effing) Putz, Valverde, Franklin, Bell, Downs

I would do that. Your pitching can handle it. I'd Git R Done before Alexei gets too hot and someone else picks him up.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.

I'd drop Kaz and hold Greinke, maybe try to deal Grienke but don't drop him. Release Matsui.

Alexei Ramirez is on the waivers in my shallow 8 leaguer...should I pick him up ?

I have Escobar @ 2B & Quentin, Markakis, Burrell, Lee, C. Young @ OF Co. Jack is sometimes Util but usually its one of the outfielders so it would mean dropping Co Jack or Votto @ 1st
