McFadden Vs. Parker?
I asked this question a couple of days ago, but has the news that FWP is the starter changed anything for ya'll? It kinda has for me. Like i need to poop or something.

Starter or not, FWP hasn't shown he can stay healthy or be the #1 (& only) guy. I'd only touch him if he fell way below his ADP...like in the company of Julius Jones & Cedric Benson.
And yes, DMc was hurt last year but if he breaks out he'll be a fantasy game-changer.

What about Sproles? I hadn't thought about playing him before, but I could see the chargers really blowing the Raiders out. So What do you think about that?

I think Sproles is getting too much hype, unless you're getting points for return yards, I generally am not high on Sproles.

Man, I am glad I didn't start Parker. McFadden has to be able to better than that. Why don't the Steelers just play M. Moore? I had picked him last year after WP got hurt, and he seems like the better player. Right now it doesn't seem so great to own any of these guys, but, then again Tennessee looks pretty good.

Mike Tomlin is adament that Willie is going to be the feature back and not splitting signifcant carries with anyone. I think he will get a free pass for last night because the Titans D is so stout (to those that thought losin Hayneworth would be their Death Knell, think again). But if he continues to be ineffectve in the next game or two you can bet he'll lose significant touches. Basically this year Willie's either going to be explosive and put up huge #'s or digress and lose his starting gig for good. I don't see a middle ground.

You could have told me that was really Shaun Alexander wearing Willie Parker's jersey last night and I would have believed it.
Last night showed me PIT is going to have real issues running the ball this year (I know, I know it was only one game, but):
- PIT offensive line is not a very talented unit for the running game as is;
- Parker looks like Shaun Alexander;
- All reports are that Mendenhall is simply not that good.
Definitely ugrade 2009 projections for Big Ben and all PIT receivers -- provided the oline keeps Big Ben alive.
