Need a 3B

Postby daniboy33 » Sat May 09, 2009 11:50 am

With Aramis about to go on the DL, I'm looking to trade for a 3B. I have an excess of OF, who should I look to trade?

I was thinking Beltran plus Broxton for Cabrera?
Kemp for Youk?
Phillips for Cantu?

On the waivers are Lowell, Reynolds, and thats pretty much it.

its hard for me to judge what to do in these shallow leagues but here's my advice...

do not trade kemp for youkilis.

it would be awesome to have cabrera, but broxton is in a class of his own at the back end and you know what you are getting with beltran.

if you are not going to play phillips (since you have utley) you might as well trade him. But its hard to find someone at his level that plays third.

wright and longoria are too good and i feel like zimmerman and chris davis aren't nearly good enough.

i would try to go two for one for david wright or just play whoever's hot on the wire until A-Ram is healthy.
