Braun/Kemp Trade - Which side?

Braun for Kemp....which side?

Was also asked about Kemp for A. Craig....which side there?

I saw Braun go for 90% of value at an NL only auction yesterday, but I dropped out of the bidding at 50% of full value. I think the 3 most likely scenarios with Braun for 2014 are below and the first 2 would severely hurt his value.

(1) He hits the DL and is out for a while (I doubt a short DL stint will help since the suspension time and offseason didn't help);

(2) He plays through the injury and his stats suffer;

(3) He plays through the injury and manages to still put up close to pre-injury/pre-suspension stats.

Kemp (despite his huge game last night) is still a big unknown, but I see less risk with Kemp than Braun.

Craig is the least risky of the 3, but he still comes with higher than average injury risk for a player entering the season healthy.

Overall, with one exception, I would go with Kemp as I think he is the best risk/reward balance. The exception is that if my team were already projected to win the league by a wide margin, I would go with the safest choice in Craig.

Thanks for the advice. I am currently sitting on Braun & Craig, but both make me a little nervous. I have been leaning toward Kemp over these guys, but I also don't really trust him either. I got bit pretty bad when I took him first in my draft a few years ago expecting that 50/50 season he promised us! I am putting Braun out there right now to see what kind of trade I might be able to put together for him where I get a more reliable player in return. If I can't make that happen, then I may take the Braun/Kemp trade.
