Thoughts on Greinke?

Postby karmakgb » Tue Apr 23, 2013 8:50 am

Broken bones usually have pretty set timetables, right? Plus, all this time off should give his elbow plenty of time to heal up. Is the general consensus that he'll be ready and raring to go by June?

His owner will be way more likely to deal him that his healthy but struggling aces. Sabathia + not much for Greinke/Aoki? This is in a keeper league and Sabathia scares me this year and especially next. Prolly be fine but...

No, there's no guarantee that he'll be fine... It's a risky play that could work...CC, while isn't great, is a steep price for a lottery ticket...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.

Yeah, the guy I'm really trying to get is Hamels. The owner also has Greinke and Weaver so he needs lots of pitching. If Josh Johnson would throw a decent game this would be much easier.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to convince a brand-new owner to pop their trade cherry?
