12 team mix 5x5 you can get one of the following:
J Upton 2nd round
Heyward 3rd round
BJ Upton 7th round
Which one do you take and why?
Pick one

Re: Pick one
Steve, feels like I am missing something here. Get him how? If via draft, I would certainly take B.J. who could easily perform the best this year. If nothing else, it leaves a high draft spot for a high-valued pick. What am I missing?

Re: Pick one
ok to clarify, draft league and you are looking at your draft and you say I could come out with one of these three guys from that round, which one would you feel best about?
And I agree I put BJ way too low. So let's say instead of BJ in the 7th, BJ in the 4th. We'll see if that sets the right level for him.

Justin, has by far the highest ceiling imo.

Re: Pick one
J-up...if he falls to the 2nd. If you have the turn, and he falls, take him. If you draft early in round 1, J-up won't be there for RD2. Then you take B.J.; think he goes in the late 4/early 5. Heyward not under consideration--last of the 3 on Rudy's player-rater.

Re: Pick one
@Hootie: tend to agree but Heyward has pedigre and had a better year last year. JUp will likely hit 3rd though.
@Fred: What if we said Upton late 1st/early 2nd or Heyward late 3rd?

Re: Pick one
I am buying into Rudy's player-rater. He has:
J-up, $26.20
B.J., $21.80
Heyward, $19.20
Don't see how you draft Heyward until B.J. is gone. Think that highly unlikely.
$26.20 to $19.20 warrants J-up. (Grandy at $21.40 probably goes after Heyward...?)
I am showing Votto at #12 at $25.10, so J-up the pick if he falls to the turn, then B.J.

Re: Pick one
IMHO, Heyward has, probably, the highest sheer statistical ceiling. However, JUP's probably got the highest floor.Justin, has by far the highest ceiling imo.

my house probably warrants a pox...
believing that the player-rater is likely going to win out over MHO.
