It seems every young phenom that makes a big splash is going to see Dr. Yocum within a couple of months of me signing them to a long-term keeper contract. Stras, Leubke, Zimmerman, and many, many others.
I've got Medlen and AJ Griffin on my team right now and I can sign them for as long as I want (base of $5 plus $3 more for each additional year that I sign them).
What I'm wondering is if there is any kind of expert or insider analysis of which pitchers are going to avoid the year off while they recover from TJ surgery.
I don't see any real pattern to it... Am I just rolling the dice?

It's all about that Slider man, i ain't no expert but thats what happend to Brett Anderson, a high percentage of his pitches where Sliders before he went down that put stress on his elbow, i am sure someone else can provide more in depth here
