I BEG for that kind of quality control. In this case, it shouldn't make much difference, but for the next thing--could be huge.
I am still doing all of this lookup one at a time, so....
Thanks!

Re: Streaming with The Fredsies
ALL: if you check: http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/baseb ... otes120716
you'll see there's only one pitcher rated above a 6 for Monday. Normally, you will see 8's, 9's, and occasional 10's. Just reinforces that it doesn't look like a good day for streamers from any perspective. BTW: ESPN has McAllister with a 4. We like him better than that. But, if you absolutely have to play it close to the vest, that is a bit of a pink flag.

Where are you getting your O-Swing data? Fangraphs has it at 31.4%.Richard-SD WhHOU....0-Swing% not great at 28.1, but improved over last... /

Re: Streaming with The Fredsies
fangraphs>leaders>pitching>split(last 30 days>scroll to bottom>create table>create custom player list.
http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?p ... &players=0
I am currently running 0-Swing%, HR/FB, siera.
Just thought that last 30 might be a better reflection of how a pitcher is running now. Don't want to gloss/punish for out of the shoot oddities.

Not really sure if I'm doing something wrong or not. I thought I did it exactly as you said but I'm getting 30 day O-Swing for Richard at 32.9%

Re: Streaming with The Fredsies
Josh Tomlin- Cleveland Indians
@ Tampa- 24th in park effects- Green light
Pitcher:
Recent- 7.2 ERA in last 3 starts but @ NYY and @Bal were terrible. vs. Tampa was terrific.- Red light.
Heads Up- 7IP/2hits/0BB/1ER in his last start against Tampa last week- Green!
Road- 6.45 ERA in 47 IP- YUCK! Red
OSwing- 33%! Green
Siera- 4.40 Red (how do you sort by recent 30 days?)
Opponent:
Home OPS rank- 27th- Green
vs. RH pitching- 24th-Green
Some major green lights but some awful reds. I'm saying crappy pitcher playing a crappy team in a good park who threw well once against them a week ago. Close but no.
You guys?

I think the same way you do for O-Swing% but click on the "Advanced" tab and it's the last stat in the row.Siera- 4.40 Red (how do you sort by recent 30 days?)

bearwah: nice catch! Yes, I get the same 32.9 for the past 30 days. I see where my original mis-read came from. I went one past Plate Discipline, and grabbed the wrong one from Pitchf/x Plate discipline. Makes him even that much stronger a STREAM. Tell all your friends to double-check my work!

knighttown: has pretty poor periphs. Don't see how he held up so well against TB in last. This will be a major test for head-to-head. If he comes back and does it again, even more evidence that headsup should be our prime check. With 7 SP already started, and 4 more slated (so far) this week, the 11 ought to be enough for our first test week. I'll sit Tomlin this one.
splits lets you llimit the report to last 30 days. once you run it, just click on the header for the field you want to sort by.

Re: Streaming with The Fredsies
My league pick ups are next-day transactions (if I pick someone up today that player is on my roster tomorrow), so I'm always on the lookout for 2-3 days.
I think Lucas Harrell is someone who may be worth picking up now to stash.
Opponent: @SD
Wind supposed to be blowing 11 mph in.
28th in OPS v. RHP
29th in OPS in home games
Pitcher:
CGSO against SD this year
28.5% O-Swing
4.60 FIP in away games (6+ ERA)
Logan Forsythe and Yonder Alonso are only ones to have success, with each having a couple of hits when they faced him.
SIERA not that great at 4.20.
I'm leaning yes on this one.
