Is Strop available? Veras could lose the role soon if he doesn't turn things around. As for couple longer shots that I like for some time later in 2014 ... I like Benoit due to Street's injury and performance risk, but that may not happen for a while if at all. I'm not sold on Valverde and the Mets have many possible options in German, Farnsworth and Torres. All of those are worth a speculative play if you have room for a stash on the bench.
