in the last month he has 1 SB and has been CS 6 times. again today in the 1st. i read that casilla hitting behind him is getting to see a lot of fastballs and gomez goes on them anyway. if casilla stays hot, maybe he gets more curveballs. i have no idea if that makes any sense, but gomez doesn't have much value without the SBs. anyone considering trying to trade him away? does he have any value? will the SBs come back?

I'm not a huge fan of C. Gomez even when he's stealing. Not sure what the deal is with his stealing percentage other than to say he's a rookie and he's still figuring out pitchers' moves.

I'd prefer someone like Victorino.

Eh, I wouldn't necessarily do that though.

So do you think Willingham is worth a slot for me?

Sizemore
Mags
Bruce start
Ludwick and GoGo man util according to matchup. (I always play GoGo vs L, Lud actually hit righty better)

Drop Willingham?

Yeah, I think I like Ludwick and Gomez more than Willingham. I like that you can play the match-ups and start Gomez when you need speed. As inconsistent as he may be (rook), he's going to get more bags than Willingham. Plus, who knows which Willingham will come back from the DL.

Agreed Peter, thanks. You too Grey.

Just don't know what to do with him. Been holding onto him for so long he seems to be a rabbits foot or something. My only DL spot for the whole duration.

We all know how supersticious baseball players can be. Even fake baseball players like us.
