Andrew Cashner

Looked good in his first AAA start.

He has slowly gone from a 2/1 K/BB ratio to a 3/1 ratio over the past few years. I think the Cubs might consider bringing him up sooner rather than later depending on how the whole Zambrano/Wells/Gorz thing works out.

It would be nice but when they bring him up it should be to start, not to be in the bullpen. Unless they trade one of their starters away for some actual middle inning relievers, instead of paying their 'ace' to pitch one inning every three days, I don't think they will be bringing him up soon.

Zambrano will get another look before Cashner does. Sweet Lou don't like dem rookie pitchers.
