Brennan Boesch

Postby jasnlcas » Sat Apr 24, 2010 7:31 pm

does any one have any thoughts on him?
here are the facts:
guillen on DL and he hits left handed so he'll see some playing time in LF over rayburn.
he hit 28HR in AA last year. also stole 11 bases (caught twice)
he was hitting 5th in Detroits lineup today.

Just so that it is clear, they were hitting Guillen in the 5th spot prior to the injury; it's not like it's a mashing unit there in Detroit. I'd say he's batting there more because he is a left handed bat than anything.

Personally, I feel like he is a lightning in a bottle guy at best. Unless another injury occurs, I could see him shipped right back down after Guillen is off the DL. They already have two ok supersubs in Kelly and Raburn who play multiple positions. I'm pretty sure it's the only reason they're on the roster this year cuz lord knows it's not for their batting so far.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.

I think you'd have to be playing in some super deep (probably mono) league for him to have some relevance.
