aroldis chapman injury!

Postby shutupandball » Wed Mar 19, 2014 8:44 pm

chapman took a liner to the face today off of salvador perez. early signs do not look good as we may have another ja happ or alex cobb situation. who should be the next in line to get saves? broxton is rehabbing from surgery, sean marshall is having shoulder issues, so who would be next in line in the event that chapman misses extended time?
12 Team,- H2H, weekly most categories (daily management), 6x5 (ops and qs replacing wins) 2 keepers

Probably Broxton. He should have time to get ready for opening day still.

yeah twitter was suggesting the worst, but ESPN just reported that he never lost consciousness, suffered laceration under eye. Also no video available.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Fractured bones above the nose and eye. Looks like he'll be out for some time.

I like Hoover, FWIW.

If Sally Perez hit it back, it shouldn't have left a mark. It couldn't have the power to make it out of the infield.

That's 6-8 weeks to heal (meaning he won't be allowed to exercise during that time). I bet he's not in a game until the end of May, if then.

Now they are saying he can throw in 10-14 days and will be able to face live hitters in 4-6 weeks. Much more optimistic outlook.
