Vernon Wells was getting paid a ridiculous amount of money for the Angels last year. Trout forced their hand.

If you look at how excited Dodgers fans (and others) are about Puig, you'd see that there's no way they send him down or sit him... not unless or until he slumps in a huge way. The Dodgers are big business now. Just because Andre Ethier is making bank doesn't mean he helps them win more games or make more money than Puig. Also, Puig got $60 million so it's not like he's some cheap minor leaguer. They have too many OF but they need to win. Someone's going to sit and/or get traded.

It won't be Man Bear Puig. Believe.

Im debating whether to cash in now and get some good value from him or hope he stays up. Im torn. I could use a more solid 2B and SS. Im sure I could turn Puig into that. Maybe see what Cano's owner thinks.

I think ManBearPuig is here to stay, and I'm grateful this fantastic nickname has caught on, and Grey also threw it up in one if his posts. Continue the ManBearPuig awareness!
